This oil diffuser smells great. Dark Vanilla & Sandalwood is fantastic and it is a scent I can see repeat buying. Seems like everything nowadays is lavender heavy so though the lavender scent is decent, I don't love it enough to repeat buy. Dark Vanilla & Sandalwood is described as ice cream on a nice day and it does evoke a similarly pleasant, sugary smell. Its approaching too sweet for me but doesn't quite get there and overpower me. I'd buy this again..A pet peeve I have with essential oils and reed diffusers is that they evaporate very quickly despite being a moderately costly purchase. But that’s in general, not just this product.

First of all, this diffuser is very pretty, with a simple glass bottle and floral accents you can choose to add to it. I absolutely love how it looks, and was excited to set it up in my apartment entrance when it arrived. However, the scent is not so pleasant in my opinion. While I can smell hints of vanilla, I can smell a strong, astringent undertone that smells like alcohol. Of course scent is subjective, but it wasn't what I was expecting. In addition, the scent's throw is a bit weak even with all 5 reeds in the bottle, so this will probably only work for very small areas. This is fine for my small entrance-way, but another issue I noticed is that the liquid is evaporating much quicker from this diffuser than from others I own. After a week, the bottle was already half empty. I tried removing some of the reeds, but the liquid is still disappearing pretty fast. It doesn't seem like the fragrance will even last a month, which seems a bit too short of a time.

I didn't care for this at all. I ordered the dark vanilla & sandalwood scent as a changeup from the flower or citrus varieties we usually get.This was a huge disappointment. When you're within a few feet of it there is a strong smell of rubbing alcohol mixed with a very slight fragrance. It puts me in mind of some kind of cheap cologne. I gave it a week or so to see if maybe the oil just needed to mix or settle or whatever. It never got any better so I threw it out.Different people have different reactions to certain scents but not one of the half dozen or so folks who smelled this stuff thought it was a pleasant aroma.I can't recommend this product.
