This was a fun, quick read. There were lots of laugh out loud moments, as well as many times where I had to roll my eyes. Despite its short length, this book has a decent plot and had me questioning things throughout.The main character was a little ridiculous at times, but I think that only added to the humorous aspects of the story. She confused obvious things on more than one occasion which often had me thinking she wasn’t super bright.Did I love this book, no. Was I highly entertained while reading it, yes. If you are looking for a non serious, quick and twisty mystery/thriller read this one.

This was absurd but in a fun way! If you're not a fan of thrillers and like to make fun of them- this is for you. If you're a fan of thrillers and want to have some fun - this is for you. If you like words on a page - this is for you!Honestly, this reminded me of a soap opera. Some of it was a little too ridiculous for me - but I found myself smiling and chuckling as I read through it. It was fast, fast paced, and quite a bit silly. I think this might be the perfect get over a reading slump book!

It was corny as hell, but I loved every minute of it! Yes, the story was badly cliched, but a pleasure to read for just a quick laugh and a quick get away from the dramatic psychological thrillers I'm used to reading. Thank you Freida for the enjoyable short story!

If you go into this book thinking it’s a serious thriller it’s going to ruin it for you! This is satire! It’s meant to be cliché, funny, and just out there compared to most serious thrillers!! I was a little worried going into this that I wasn’t going to enjoy it since I wasn’t a fan of her other novella The Gift but this was an enjoyable read!I liked all of the references and there are plenty of funny scenes, even though this is cliché I still enjoyed the thriller element that it had. I didn’t mind our main character or her best friend. I would recommend this to those who want a short but funny thriller read that isn’t serious about the mystery in general.(I adore this dedication!)

I love when authors don’t take themselves too seriously and have fun sometimes. This was a nice read that took me about an hour and a half to finish. There were some really funny moments too!

Cute and Satire
You have to start reading this book knowing it’s completely satire. It was over the top and made me laugh a bit with the black and blue dress and nickelback. Overall I enjoyed it for a quick short read
HILARIOUS, UNEXPECTED AND HARD TO PUT DOWN TILL YOU FINISH IT!
It is a satirical story so it was not to be taken seriously. I personally caught onto the humour straightaway and found it hilarious! I found it very hard to put down because every time I ended a chapter, you wanted to know what happened next. I loved the main character and found her to be entertaining and the things she kept doing were too funny to mention because I don’t want to give away any spoilers. You just have to read it and keep going with it. It all comes together in the most random way and Freida McFadden is the master of creating unexpected twists. I would highly recommend this one!
