The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love my Seestar!I was so happy to get my Seestar and start observing the heavens in my own backyard.This thing works great and with soooo many different possibilities. Solar imaging, Lunar imaging, Deep space imaging, and even land-based imaging. I could not wait to unlock the mysteries of the universe with Seestar that I had to get right into it. I jumped right in and got it up and going in no time. Seestar stepped me along the setup, and I was off imaging the moon, sun, stars, galaxies and the heavens above! Seestar makes it so easy! Like 1-2-3.The Seestar comes in a nice travel box and even comes with the tripod and attachable solar filter all fit nice and snug inside. Setup is simple. 1-2-3 simple. Download the APP and make sure it is level, and you are off and going. Connect to your phone or tablet and the universe is at your fingertips. Seestar makes astrophotography fun and easy. It really helps step you through the basics of imaging.What made this purchase even better was that the manufacturer now has their own Bolo store. It is nice to know that it is covered by the manufacturer if anything goes wrong, and they are the seller. I Have wanted something like this for many years. It is very easy to use.

I got the idea of this product. However it is very difficult to balance the tripod. We need to buy extra third party gauge to make sur the sitting is balanced.

Update Review.It is very easy to set up and use, as a Telescope, its capable of fairly sharp pics of the Moon and is perfect for taking/viewing the Sun(with included sun filter). Its good for deep space objects, but not strong enough to view Jupiter or Saturn clearly . HOWEVER, WHEN I WENT TO TAKE STACKED IMAGES OF STARS I NOTICED AT THE TOP PART OF PICTURES A SLIGHT DISTORTION OF STARS,BUT ONLY AT THE TOP PART. THE REST OF IMAGE IS TACK SHARP. THERE APPEARS TO BE A FLAW IN THE LENS. SO I HAVE TO CROP OUT THE DISTORTED PART. Maybe I just got a defective unit. However It is a good stepping stone for anyone wanting to get into Astronomy. (And by the way the expensive Telescopes costing a few thousand dollars, you have to change Eye pieces for adjusting the range to see planets or Galaxies, but not both at same time.) As for quality of images obtain, after I had to crop out 1/4th of top half of picture it did came out good.

This telescope is much better than its competition. For a nominal price you are unlocking the universe. This telescope is amazing. You can set it up in just a minute or two and start viewing aThis telescope is much better than its competition. For a nominal price you are unlocking the universe. This telescope is amazing. You can set it up in just a minute or two and start viewing a plethora of astronomical Objects. Galaxies nebula clusters the moon, the sun it does have a planetary mode, but this telescope is not made for viewing planets. I have got a Saturn and Jupiter picture really cool to me to be able to see the spot on Jupiter and the rings of Saturn, but you need a much more expensive telescope if you want good planetary pictures or viewing. But this telescope is made for more of the things I mentioned above and it does it extremely well. It also does scenery mode extremely well, so shooting a mountain near you or a boat out in the harbor, etc., it does very well. I highly recommend this telescope and you can’t buy anything else for this price that is better.

If you’re looking for a smart telescope, this is it! It’s easy to set up and use! Seestar has many modes to shot different pictures. Battery life is great once charged it can work up to 6 hours. Make sure to download the app to begin shooting awesome pictures. ZWO company is fast at shipping! I also love the fact that is compact and comes with a traveling case which makes it easy to travel with. I’m going to be taking this on my honeymoon to Mexico to see the beautiful lit up night skies.Thank you ZWO for creating this extraordinary telescope!!!

The Seestar is such a cool telescope. You can just plop it down, open the app, and start taking pictures. It knows where to go without any kind of polar alignment or hassle. For anyone wanting to get into astrophotography, this is definitely the easiest and best way to start. ZWO shipped quickly too. There’s very little learning curve to use this. It’s small and portable. Easily can be taken anywhere. The longer you leave the Seestar on an object, the clearer the image will get. I definitely would recommend!
