Seemed weak when first examined. Tested magnetic field strength with a gaussmeter and compared it to readings of two other ferrite ring magnets. These had about 2/3 the strength of the others. (Measured at .5 " from the surfaces showed 372 gauss/ inch of thickness for these compared to 532/inch for one and 605 /inch for the other) Although these would certainly be useful for some applications, they are clearly the product of older technology. Which is sometimes good/better.
