Living in a fire prone area, there are times when I don't have power or access to a store. Having a good supply of easy to make food is comforting to me. I like the Mountain House brand. All of their meals are tasty and one of them gives me enough to feel sated for a full day. I do cook them in my sun oven when I don't have power. That just seems to be the easiest way, rather than boiling water and following the directions, I just pour the contents and the required amount of water in a pot and let the sun heat it up for an hour. They always come out perfect. I have tried most of them. Yes, I store these and I also use them regularly. I highly recommend them.

This is the best tasting freeze dried meal I've ever eaten. I have tried several different companies and they all failed my taste test. Another great thing is these come packed as two servings ,which in my case is equal to a single serving. This is the only company I have found out there that does this.

While I would call it good. I would not call it kung pao chicken.A bit spicy. I dont mind but for anyone sensative to ANY heat....I would take caution.All in all. Would buy again.

I trust the Mountain House brand. I've found all of their products to be quality even if they are a little more expensive per calorie than most other brands. The Kung Pao Chicken was a nice flavor change from most of the freeze-dried products out there. I'll buy more of these in the future.
