I’ve been using this grinder for over 4 months now, and I’m ready to review it. It’s just plain awesome! I’ve tried a few less expensive ones, and they don’t hold a candle against this puppy. It’s extremely powerful, fast, and very adjustable (infinite adjustment). I’ve used it with and without the bellow attachment, and it works just fine either way, although I may 3d print a funnel to use it without the bellows. I use the catch cup most of the time and just pour my beans in and then collect what comes out without puffing the bellows. When I weighed the difference, it was like +/- 0.02 grams. Very low retention! The anti-static thing in it is amazing, no more RDT! The burrs seem to be shimmed/aligned fairly well. Close enough where I don’t want to disturb them. The grind seems very even. This version of the DF64 seems to have solved every issue with v1. I love it! For the price you get a basically all of high end grinder features for a great price in my humble opinion. I would totally recommend this one to friends and family.Note: You should not use water in your beans with anti-static grinders. Don’t worry, you won’t need to!The only thing I could possibly complain about it is that it’s a little noisy, but it doesn’t seem to bother my wife or kids if I get up and make a shot while they’re still sleeping.

This grinder is great, heavy and makes a very consistent grind for espresso and my moca pot. The delivery was way ahead of the predicted schedule, almost 2 weeks ahead of the estimated time. I didn't believe that flat burr grinders would enhance the flavor of my coffee.... but I stand corrected. The flavor compared to my old blade grinder surprised me. I am not a coffee snob, but this was well worth the cost to go along with a new espresso machine I recently purchased.

Been wanting to upgrade my Breville Smart grinder for a long time. I like that it is a single dose and zero retention due to the flat burr. Yes, it can be a bit loud, but the pros overweight that. No setup needed. Very easy to operate right of the box. Needs some time to dial in if switching from the old grinder. Once dialed, the results are impressively consistent. Every morning I brew dark roast espresso for my hubby and medium roast for myself, so single dose grinder is a must. I’ve done a lot of research before buying. The best in class is Niche zero but I can’t see myself paying over a grand for a grinder. DF64 g2 is the next best thing and at a reasonable price on Bolo. Maintenance is a breeze too compared to my old conical grinder. Very happy with the purchase and can’t recommend enough.

This is the grinder everyone should have. One, it's reasonably priced. Two, it's more important than the espresso machine you buy or already own. And if you have a Breville with a built-in grinder, you should still get this one. It's much better. Make your dial-in drinks top-notch!

Read a lot about this one online and I was a little worried about how it would grind, but it has been awesome since unboxing. I still spray my beans a bit to really reduce the static but I’ve tested without and it doesn’t stick too bad. The consistency of the grind itself is awesome, though I do find the grind adjustment a little cumbersome. I have to use the bellow just to make sure the last bit of grinds comes out and I think the bellow looks a little silly. I had also read that the grinder is really loud but I haven’t found that it’s loud enough to bother. All in all a great grinder and is clearly a step up from the gen 1 comments I was reading

If you enjoy taking apart things and putting the back together constantly just to be able to make a single espresso shot then you will love this grinder!! I use the blower to get rid of all extra grinds between grinds every time but doesn’t matter. You still have to take the whole thing apart because it constantly clogs up. This is the most annoying grinder I have ever owned and would NOT recommend to anyone.
