Dihydroberberine is marketed as being more bio-available than standard berberine, which explains what appears to be lower dosages. It lowers my sugar as well as standard berberine, but with less "filler", I think it's worth the slightly higher cost.

I have no impression that these did anything for me. Maybe its more preventative? or for those that are deficient? Maybe I don't need this? So I gave it a 3 since I have no idea if it's actually effective.

I’ve been taking this for a few Weeks. It immediately helped me with eating less. I take one with breakfast and one with dinner. I’m eating smaller portions and not usually hungry after dinner. And I haven’t had any side effects. So pretty happy.
