It's a splurge, but worth it to me. Intuitive, holds multiple schedules including auto-on for the mornings, and the brew tastes GREAT. Really delicious. I am loving it. I'm not a coffee extremist but definitely serious - the grinder, brewer and beans are important and for the first time I feel like I've hit the jackpot for my preferences and taste. I did a lot of research and couldn't be happier with my choice. Some basics: it's sleek, small, keeps coffee warm over an hour, cleans up easily, comes with two types of baskets, water tank is light and easy to use, and I love the styling. Fellow hit the jackpot with their design and technology. It took me about a week of figuring things out and getting to the right ratio for my taste but I think I've finally nailed it. I have no idea if a coffee purist would say it's close to a pour over, but it's the best coffee I've brewed in as long as I can remember and I'm really happy with this Fellow.

So...We paid $365 for the privilege of being beta testers. That's concerning and unprofessional and has me concerned about the future of this product! Being an older dude I'm wary of computer controlled machines and prefer simple switches and buttons but let's face it computes have gotten cheap, robust and reliable and a 3 year warranty eases the concern. I still bought the Bolo extended though!Issues?App does NOTHING...Can't seem to get the brew profiles to brew on schedule. Have to make your own profile and scheduling works.Pot is not very insulated and no hot plate so coffee will be room temperature in an hour or two.But as-is it does what I want and need; makes a GREAT pot of coffee ready when I wake up! Remains to be seen what the Fellow folks do to get the app operating and I'm still disappointed they did not have it ready to roll upon release. As I said it makes me wary about this company that puts out the effort to make uch and advanced coffeemaker but debuts it unpolished.....

Easy and fun to unbox. I was so excited to get this product, because this company makes great coffee products. When I heard they made this, I had to have it. At first it was difficult to set up with my network, reached out to the Fellow team and they helped out within 24 hours. I was still able to make a pot without internet of course, but when it's all working like it should, it's amazing. The temperatures are perfect for each type of cup. Really, it is programmed for all types of coffees. Worth every penny.

Has ‘hung’ and required unplug once. And the cold brew function is buggy in that never finishes and must be canceled. There is no app software yet.To the coffee. Very good, hence the hope they get to 5 stars. Nice and flexible as it exists, but without the app it is cumbersome to modify. If the app doesn’t make easier to modify, that will be an issue. Have had for several days so initial impressions. Bottom line, imho it was not quite ready for release, but have high hopes.Edit: The cold brew function has another issue. Often it doesn’t produce the full volume. This issue then wastes the 40+ grams of coffee. Most of the time I’m very happy, but on occasion I think of returning.
