Not bad for the price and amount of pages you get, harder leads (like 4H) are a bit better for sketching it in my opinion and don't burn down so fast, softer leads better for adding shading using a stump. Fudenosuke pens and ball point pen sketchingworks well too.

I bought this sketchbook to use with colored pencils. Great, budget friendly option. Having the spiral at the top keeps it out of your way when drawing. Love having the perforation, makes for a clean tear.
