I am very pleased with my Yale August digital locks that were easy to install. Battery life is better than expected after reading other user reviews. I also really like the Yale smartphone app (using an iphone 16) that makes it easy to add and remove guest codes as needed. This is a great product. Just be sure that the deadbolt lock you use it with is compatible (August has a list of locks that work with it on their website). Generally, most center keyed deadbolts work but those with offset keys (such as some Kwiksets) don’t. And remember to ensure that the deadbolt slides smoothly in and out of the strike plate. My installation required some adjustments but not much of a problem to overcome.

Do not purchase a used product. It is useless. Bolo does a horrible job of supporting used products. The products are not reset and therefore cannot be used by anyone except the original purchaser. The the used product I purchased was still registered to the original owner. This is actually a security risk.Yale August can take up to 30 days for any response related to resetting a product. To make things worse the August app doesn't tell you that it takes 30 days until after you have installed the lock. Bolo product support had me on a chat for almost an hour only to tell me they can do anything about it. Overall probably the worst experience I had on Bolo.

These are fantastic and reliable (with long battery life and uninterrupted WiFi connectivity), but you’ll want to make sure you know what you’re doing. The instructions are helpful, but I could see others getting frustrated with the tech setup especially.If you buy this lock, DO NOT buy preowned. I purchased a second in this way, and it was as if someone ripped it off their own door and threw it in a box, trash included. Two key screws were missing, and the adhesive pads (which are single use) were already used and a sticky foamy mess attached to the back of the keypad and Doorsense device.

Relatively easy installation, functionality is great. There is a memory impaired resident, and the auto lock features and phone app to lock, unlock, plus fingerprint keypad makes it easier to control by the caretaker when away from the home. No one is at risk and property isn’t at risk either.

Easily followed instructions for installation and a well packed lock. Easy to handle and managed even by a kid. One point if you would like to install a sensor for the door, in addition to a lock: for the iron door, please request to make a side hole on the opposite from the lock door. Otherwise, the sensor cannot be installed. The lock will still functioned fine but only without a motion sensor.

El producto es bueno, tengo un modelo anterior, pero considero que falta actualizar la informacion de que en mexico (o fuera de eeuu y canada) ya no es posible utilizarlo por la app

Gaste el costo de este producto, además pase horas instalándolo en una puerta de metal, todo para que no pudiera ni crear una cuenta porque "por seguridad" necesitan 2 confirmaciones 1 de correo y otra de teléfono al llegar a la parte de teléfono se supone que te deben de mandar un SMS, y nunca llega... Es increíble que una marca tan reconocida haga las cosas tan mal, una porquería de producto. No lo compren no sirve... Es dinero tirado a la basura.
