My memories of powdered milk are Carnation brand from the 1980s. So, when I opened this, I was a little nervous that it smelled like I'd opened up a container of Parmesan cheese. Luckily, when you add warm water, it tastes very similar to real milk -- much better than I remember powdered milk tasting. However, it is supper clumpy. There's no indication that this is made in the USA, which is a little concerning. However, I guess I'll take my chances, as it's shelf-stable for 2 years. Unfortunately, it expires for me next year because it was already on the shelf a while before it arrived in my house.

Very convenient to have on hand when you don't have milk. Per the instructions, it works best when the water is heated and then the powder is mixed in. I've found that for me, the easiest hack is to throw it into my milk frother. By heating up the water first and then adding the milk powder, it does an excellent job of heating, mixing, and frothing with less effort. The taste is not as rich as fresh whole milk, but at times I've preferred doubling the powder amount to get a creamier body. I've had much success with using this in béchamel sauces, mornay, and basic roux. Tastes just the same as if I used fresh milk. I've not gotten around to using it in baking yet with milk breads, but I'm looking forward to it and will update when I can. So far, I'm very impressed with this milk powder.

I definitely have an easier time having A2 milk products than "normal" milk products (which have both A1 and A2). I had NO idea that A2 milk existed in powder form, so I was thrilled to be able to try this! It's great! It tastes just like regular milk. I tend to not drink milk but I do eat some products with dairy. So mostly I'm using this to make other products (such as pudding) and basically other things I would love to enjoy but don't want to suffer through because of my lack of being able to digest regular milk.There are a few other options for A2 milk powder out there...but I think most of the reviewers are comparing the price of this to the price of normal/regular milk powder. This is more of a specialty item. It's harder to find, most people don't even know about it still, and so the price for it reflects that. If they don't need A2 milk powder then I'm sure they would like to save money and get regular milk powder. I really can't digest regular milk powder, so I will spend the extra money on A2 milk powder, as needed.

This milk powder is good overall! I was skeptical at first, but the milk powder is great in my coffee, smoothies, and hot chocolate. This milk powder tastes great, mixes easily, and adds a boost of nutrition and protein to my diet. I loved the thickness, texture, versatility and taste of it and would like to keep this at home for emergency. However compare to other brands it's pricey.

This is high quality powdered milk. It comes in a resealable bag to keep moisture out. I got it for baking so I haven't used it for drinking straight, but it works very good in baking - provides a good, creamy favor.

Since I found out that I have problems every time I drink regular milk, I have been drinking A2 milk for about 4 years. My son drinks A2 milk too. I couldn't believe that A2 powdered milk existed! It was very useful when a hurricane hit here and we didn't have power for a while. Before the hurricane, we usually finish most of perishable drinks and food, but fortunately, we had this A2 milk powder! It has a slight powdered milk aroma, but that's ok, it's powdered milk! I dissolved it in little bit of warm water, then when it and created a nice smooth paste, I added more water. It created a good milk texture. The shelf life is long, so I divided it into 4 portions and vacuum-sealed them with oxygen absorbers in each packet. This way, I make 2 portions at a time, and the rest can stay fresh! Although it is a bit expensive, I highly recommend it to those with dietary restrictions for emergency use.

I like to keep powdered milk on hand primarily for baking as we don't keep normal milk in the house. So this is perfect for whipping up a batch of biscuits, using in gravies or other baked goods and not wasting milk as it goes bad in the fridge.The product smells milky, dissolves quickly and does the job perfectly. It tastes like milk... No complaints here.The cost is the only downfall here... Can get comparable product/quality for a bit less.
