I bought a water pump decorations from India and after multiple attempts, could not get the pump working correctly. The pump would pump water for 2 seconds and then keep running with little power to keep moving water. After discussing symptoms, figured it could be due to power rating being 220V vs 110V input power in USA. After first try of the converter, water pump worked right away correctly!! Easy to setup, easy to use. Highly recommend for anyone facing 110V / 220V problems. Suggested to my brother as well and he too is sold and ordering himself one!

I purchased this product solely for Sony music HIFI system 1990 vintage from UK , Voltage requirement is 220V/ 50/60 Hz with an power output 400 watts . Its converts the voltage without any issue and specially , the device doesn't get hot and with absolute no noise , I use it daily for 1 to 2 hours a day and works great without any interruption . I am not sure for any other appliance how great it will work .

I wanted to like this product but it just didn’t work as I could not plug in an outlet from HK to it. Not sure why when it states it can. Maybe it’s a user error

Very nice product well made but it didn’t work for me sadly. I bought this to power my new aquarium protein skimmer that came with a 45watt 240V UK plug, the pump turns on and you can hear it but it doesn’t suck nor pump out any water even after letting it run for 10min. I found the same pump in 110V DC instead of 240V AC so hopefully that will do the trick when it finally arrives

Yinleader 110V to 220V Voltage Converter Transformer 4000W Step Up/Down 110/120-220/240V with US and Universal Outlet,Resettable Circuit Breaker.This is a heavy voltage converter that uses a toroid transformer to convert 120V to 240V or 240V to 120V. The transformer inside is very large and heavy. The front of the device has outlets that give both 120V and 240V power and they are universal so they can accept many different plug configurations. The 120V and 240V power is available when used with both a 120V source or a 240V source. It has a North American 120V power plug on mine for the North American market. An adapter would be needed to plug into a 240V source.The back of the device has a selector switch that you set depending on the supply voltage. It routes the voltage to the proper windings of the transformer to give the correct outputs at the front outlets. The switch was nice and it worked well, but I found it was a bit too easy to switch from one voltage to the other. I would prefer a much stiffer switch for such an important selection. If not, at least protect the switch with a raised bar to prevent accidental hits, because a wrong switch selection could blow up an electrical device that is plugged into the front.This is a nice device that allows me to operate or test different voltage operated devices from the same power source.
