I own two pairs of Irish Setter Ashby work boots and they are quite comfortable right out of the box. These boots(Fifty) were never designed to be anything but attractive on the exterior. The inside of the counter(back of heel) has an exposed edge of stiff leather that will never break in to be comfortable. Really flawed design. The rest of the boot isn't particularly comfortable either. Wish I could send them back.

COMFORTABLE & LIGHT WEIGHT!

I do supply chain consultation and training, I spend a lot of hours standing on concrete floors and usually have to wear something like a Hoka or OnCloud to get the appropriate cushioning to not tear up my knees or back. The problem is, tennis shoes are ugly and not super professional. These boots, on the other hand, look and feel fantastic! Due to the thin flexible leather, and stretch material in the ankle area, these are ready to go out of the box and require almost no break in. The soles are incredibly soft and comfortable, and have a good bounce to them when walking. However, after two days of light duty walking there’s already some stitching come off on the vamp. Super disappointing, well what navigating the exchange process with Bolo looks like…
