Only thing to notice is that the USB cables that go to the PC/Laptops are quite long, so if you wan to have a clean space, you might consider using some cable hiding solutions to hide them. I actually sticked the switch under my desk to make my desktop setup cleaner.

yall have no idea how happy i am right now. I use this switcher between windows and mac and worked right out of the box unlike my last USB switcher which wouldn't detect on macOS. I plan on using this when my tower PC is booted in linux as well. to have it just be compatible out of the box is the biggest plus. and its affordable compared to other KVMs on the market. save yourself the headache on the cheaper USB switches and stick with Anker.

This works for the purpose I bought it for however I did wish it was made out of aluminum rather than being fully plastic. Competing USB switches in the price range of this product are well weighted and fully aluminum.While it works, I think the build quality doesn’t justify the price tag. With 7 cables coming out of it, it’s not fully flat on the table because even the slightest amount of upwards tension from a USB cable lifts this switcher up since it is lightweight.Otherwise, this USB switch is very functional and comes with the major benefit of having a dedicated power port that provides additional power to the ports. This is pretty critical because other highly reviewed USB switches on Bolo just don’t work at all once you hit the power limit of the single USB port that siphons energy from the host machine.With this switch, you can provide a lot more watts to the switch and therefore power the USB switch with stuff you otherwise could not, like USB drive enclosures, Blu-ray players, desktop speakers, 5W charging, etc.

Prior switchbox wouild disrupt operation of peripherals. Mouse, keyboard, camera, usb speakers all work as they should with this switch box. Excellent build quality.

I’m not sure why this doesn’t have more reviews on it?! I’ve been using Anker products for years without any issues so when I came across this USB Switch I had to get it compared to other brands. It’s a little bit more expensive than other brands but you’re paying for the peace of mind that it works. I have my headset, mouse, keyboard, and USB C external SSD plugged into it and I love how seamless it all works between my gaming and streaming PC. The switch button itself has “PC1” & “PC2” with orange and blue colors to easily tell which PC you are connected to. When you hit the switch it takes roughly 3-4 seconds for everything to switch to the other PC. I love also that it comes with an adapter for USB C connections if you’d rather have that over USB A connections to your PCs. One final note is that on the opposite sides of the switches there is a dedicated usb slot for your keyboard/mouse for less interference.Oh also the keyboard and mouse work very fast with no latency that I can feel. Gaming feels great in competitive esport games as well as competitive FPS! I would happily buy this switch again if I ever needed another one! 5/5 stars for me
