I replaced another offbrand induction cooktop with this since that was giving me weird hotspots on my pans. This one heats and cooks evenly but takes a while to heat a pan and even longer to boil water. its easy enough to clean. I gently scrub it with Pink Stuff and so far no marring or scratching. I also like the auto lock feature as I tend to touch the power button frequently when I'm cleaning it.

Update: customer service contacted us and assessed our unit was faulty. They sent a new unit immediately! We installed it and have used it for a week. I am VERY impressed with its ability to maintain a constant temperature, allowing for frying chicken in an iron skillet without it scorching or having hot spots! At first, I was concerned about the cycling on and off, but it works well to regulate the actual temperature. The manual explained the simple use of the controls - our favorite is the whole cut off option and the lock function so no accidental starts while cleaning or not using. I wasn’t sure if it would be safe for glass cookware, so I sent a message to customer service and they responded quickly - just use a small burner, that warms up slowly (I tested with our heat gun and the middle of the large, being only 1050w, was best and boiled my eggs beautifully!). I had to get rid of our gas stovetop due to asthma and feared I wouldn’t find a comparable replacement - this one has exceeded my expectations! The only place it is different is it doesn’t cool down as quickly as gas, but it’s easy to adapt by removing from burner. I highly recommend this product, especially for the price!! Original review: As soon as turn on an element, it heats up really fast then shuts off and locks. Have not been able to keep it on for more than 3 seconds. Our electrician cannot figure it out (the manual did not help) and cannot find a way to contact the manufacturer. We really like it and think it would be great for us, if we can get it to work.

Purchased the 5 burner stove top. Had it installed and it worked well for the 30 days and I had trouble turning it on. Thought my fingers were wet or something since I would try it after wiping my hands then it would turn on eventually. Now it doesn’t turn on at all. $259.00 for 30 days of use. Don’t buy. Haven’t been able to reach anyone about a replacement or return

Funciona perfectamente.
La compré para una persona mayor portadora de marca pasos y hasta el momento funciona bien. Las placas de inducción son perjudiciales para las personas portadoras de estos dispositivos. Esta al ser radiante es ideal ya que no afecta al marca pasos y se puede usar con tranquilidad. La placa es de un material ligeramente rugoso que puede dificultar un poco su limpieza. Por lo demás bien.
Bello e funzionale
Ho scelto questo piano di cottura elettrico per mia mamma di 83 anni, da sempre abituata alle piastre elettriche. La scelta è caduta su questo per la presenza di manopole fisiche per la regolazione della temperatura anziché i comandi a sfioramento ormai presenti sulla maggior parte delle piastre.Il prodotto è esattamente come presentato nelle fotografie e le misure corrispondono a quelle fornite.Il piano cottura viene fornito senza presa e quindi è necessario rivolgersi ad un elettricista se non si è in grado di collegarlo in autonomia. Il cavo di alimentazione ha due conduttori che consentono di collegare i due gruppi di piastre anche separatamente. Questo è quello che ho fatto io perché l’impianto domestico non regge più di 3kw e volevo evitare che si accendessero le 4 piastre insieme che portano il consumo complessivo a 6 kw con il risultato di far saltare l’interruttore limitatore di potenza.L’installazione è stata semplice, ho dovuto solo lavorare di lima da legno e seghetto per adattare il piano al taglio già presente nel piano di lavoro della cucina.Il piano ha funzionato subito, il riscaldamento è immediato e la spia presente vicino ai comandi di ogni piastra ha una spia che indica se la piastra è ancora calda per evitare bruciature accidentali.Rispetto alle vecchie piastre elettriche preesistenti che rimanevano sempre accese, ho l ‘impressione che questo piano di cottura gestisca meglio il riscaldamento, attaccando e staccando quando la piastra è in temperatura e quindi facendo risparmiare energia elettrica. Ad oggi non ho abbastanza evidenze per confermare, controllerò i consumi dei prossimi mesi per verificare.L’unico piccolo inconveniente dei comandi manuali è la corrispondenza tra il comando stesso e la piastra comandata: in pratica sono all’opposto, con il comando in alto che controlla la piastra in basso e viceversa. Una volta abituati si usa senza problemi ma le prime volte può creare confusione nell’utente.In conclusione, sono molto soddisfatto di questo piano di cottura e lo consiglio per chi preferisce questo ai classici fornelli a gas.
