It comes with everything you need to start testing your blood sugar. It comes with 100 test strips, a lancing device, and the meter itself. The setup is pretty easy and straightforward, and the results show up fast, usually within a minute. Accuracy is decent for the price, though it’s always a good idea to double check against your doctor’s readings now and then. The lancing device is a bit basic, but it gets the job done. Test strips are not super expensive to replace either, which is a plus if you’re testing often. Overall, great value if you need something simple and reliable without spending a ton.

For the price, this is an amazing device, as it comes with 100 test strips and 100 lancets. I ordered this kit for my pre-diabetic husband so he can track his blood sugars and keep his A1C in the healthy range. We did have trouble setting up the meter, we also had trouble installing the battery (which is included). It seemed to work well once we were able to set everything up. He had the lancet set at 12, the highest number and it barely pricked his finger enough to draw enough blood for the test. It may lack the quality you will need if you are a diabetic. If you were going camping, or on a trip somewhere that you might lose or damage your regular meter, this may be a good choice, a good backup meter. We liked that there was no coding required. We found the information on how to set the meter better in this product description page than in the manual that came with the meter. The case is handy. Does not come with a log to record your numbers.

This is a great glucose test kit that came with everything you need to get started. It has the test unit, 100 test strips, 100 lancets, lancing device, instructions, and it all comes in a nice zippered case. The only thing it doesn't come with is something to disinfect your finger with, but I just used an alcohol swab. The instructions are easy to follow and everything is really easy to use. It seems to be accurate and is a great price for everything you get. I was also happy to see that seller sells replacement supplies for the lancets and test strips for when I run out.

I have multiple issues with this glucose monitor. At first I was thrilled because it comes in a pouch with 2 sets of strips (which expire in 3 years) and lots of needles for the included lancing device. However, it is very cheaply made. First, it would not turn on with the battery installed. It is suppose to turn on automatically when the test strip is inserted (I tried every direction just in case), but it does not. It also does not turn on using the "M" button, which is "power on/off" according to the instructions. Additionally, the battery cover will not stay in place! It keeps falling off no matter how I adjust it or hold it. I finally bent the tab to keep it in place, but it is not going to hold up! If you have diabetes, you need something more reliable.

I was a bit worried about whether the needle would penetrate too deep and if it would be painful, it turns out that's not the problem at all. The light punch at the reading of 11 was all I need to get a drop of blood, it's as good as ding by a mosquito. It literally took only 5 seconds to get the reading. It's hard to tell the accuracy without comparing with properly calibrated device, though.Overall, I feel it's quite straightforward to use it provided reading the instructions carefully. It's great to have a lot of lancets and test strips, so I don't have to look for supplies. The display is quite large and easy to read too. It's a good addition for people with high glucose.

The kit has everything needed for testing. The big display and memory for previous readings are really nice features for the price. The overall quality for the price also speaks volumes. This is something that is great as a starter kit or for something to take on a trip or as a backup. Great for general readings, but for long term and ensuring accuracy, investing in a higher end monitor is going to be the way to go. It's good to have something like this in a very affordable range available with all of the necessary do-dads and features in the monitor itself.

This kit is fantastic. It comes with everything you need in an easy to carry zipper pouch. I had never used a blood glucose monitor previously so I was grateful for the clear quick-start guide that made it easy to take my first reading.The handheld unit has a very large font making it very easy for anyone to read and it can store your data. I wish there were a way to download the data via USB or wireless, but for the price of the unit I can't expect too much.Everything worked great and I was very pleased with the unit.

Super good value. At the price, this complete test kit is less than the price of 100 test strips of my other meter. Very affordable and complete. Everything you need to test. I would probably be comfortable getting this kit for a trip and not worry about if I brought enough strips or lancets. Test result is in range and comparable with my other meters. If you use these meters enough, you know that they are not super precise. I have cheap as well as expensive meters and with all give slightly different reading from strip to strip, even if it is testing the same drop of blood. This one fall in range of acceptable and I am happy to use it as a guide for my postprandial blood sugar measurements.
