These units work very well for both home and live applications. While it was fun to roam the stage, there is something magical about playing cord free in your home. I used them at church for several weeks and did not experience any drop outs. Distance was good, though as I moved the transmitter away from the receiver (about 50’) the latency steadily increased. Not a deal breaker by any means and that’s the only time I noticed any latency. The units did not seem to mess with my tone (at least not in a quantifiable way) for both electric and acoustic sets. Out of the box, the units paired easily and I was playing guitar within minutes. The battery life lasted longer than I expected and charging is quick. I haven’t tried other brands, so I cannot compare, but this set was exactly what I was looking for.

This is the best guitar wireless system for home use that I have ever owned, and I have tried several different brands over the years and wound up getting rid of them all. This one is totally noise-free, good battery life, and to my ears, there is absolutely no perceivable loss of tone like the other wireless systems. To me, it sounds just as good as a cable connection. The construction feels well made and of high quality. My search is over. This set is a keeper.

A week later...the Telepath system is fantastic. I had a competing product from a well-known practice amp company and in no time at all it began having issues. The telepath has been rock solid since I first charged the units. No interference and it works great from 15-20 feet away. Love the switch so amplified accoustic guitars are handled differently. Well-made. Recommended.

Great solution for my electric Guitar in a church worship setting with lots of RF from other wireless systems. Doesn't seem to flavor my tone compared a cable. No drop outs and battery life is good!! Will be buying another soon!

Love the minimalist, practical design of this unit - perfect implementation/orientation for the angled jack on Strat-style guitars. Ingenious to color the receiver differently from the transmitter. Sound quality, latency, ease-of-use all excellent, as advertised/reviewed. My only nit is with the coverage. Although it works well with direct line of sight between transmitter and receiver, I expected it would not drop out at only 20 feet, through a single wall. My amp is in my home office/cave, but I like to wander into the adjoining living room and sit as I play ... not with this unit. I have ordered the Blackstar Airwire i58 to see if it performs any better.

This is something I wish I had bought 10 years ago. Flawless. Sound quality is exactly the same as plugging in with the TS cable. Super long lasting battery. Now I can just pick up a guitar and move freely around my space with zero worries. I've used this to plug directly into amps, through FX pedals, straight into an audio interface, as well as into an axe-fx amp modeler and noticed no difference in sound quality between that and using an actual cable. Would recommend to any guitar player.

I just received the wireless system two days ago, but my initial impression is that I'm very, very impressed with them. They were extremely easy to use right out of the box. I was worried about a change in tone, and, although there is a slight change in tone, I actually think they improved the overall tone compared to the cable I was using (which is not a cheap cable). Another concern I had before trying them was whether there would be latency issues; so far, I have not experienced any latency issues at all. One of the reasons I went with this system is because it comes with the active/passive pickup option, and about half of my guitars have active pickups. This system might seem more expensive than others, but if you use active pickups, you'd have to buy additional gear to make it compatible with other wireless systems anyway, so you'd probably not be saving any money. FYI, I'm using them for bedroom practice, so I can't attest to the their range since I've only used them about ten feet apart, but man is it nice not having to deal with a cable. I'm very happy with the purchase and would 100 percent buy them again.

Das Fender Telepath-System lässt sich dank "auto-pairing" kinderleicht in Betrieb nehmen: Einfach beide Teile einschalten und warten bis die LEDs grün leuchten - fertig. Der Klang ist dank "cable tone simulation" absolut natürlich - kein hörbarer Unterschied zum Kabel. Von einem Delay ist selbst bei schnellen Soli nichts zu spüren. Die Verbindung ist stabil und bei mir bisher absolut störungs- und unterbrechungsfrei (5,8 MHz Funkfrequenz), auch wenn andere Wireless-Systeme (die nicht auf dem selben Kanal arbeiten) in der Nähe sind. Mit vier wählbaren Kanälen lassen sich vier Telepath-Systeme parallel nutzen. Einen freien Kanal such sich das Telepath-System dabei automatisch. Toll ist auch, dass man mehrere Sender mit einem Empfänger koppeln kann ("multi-pairing"). Damit kann man schnell mal die Gitarre wechseln ohne den Sender umstecken zu müssen. Allerdings habe ich noch keine Sender einzeln angeboten gesehen. Der "active/passive"-Schalter sorgt für Kompatibilität zu Gitarren mit und ohne Vorverstärker sowie zu anderen elektronischen Instrumenten (z.B. Synths). Mit dem um 270° drehbaren Klinkenstecker findet man bei jeder mir bekannten Gitarre bequem Anschluss, ohne dass es allzu weit absteht. Da es im Vergleich zu einigen China-Produkten relativ klein ist, ist das Telepath auch optisch kein "Stolperstein". Die Gehäuse erscheinen road-tauglich. Die Akkus sollen 8 Stunden durchhalten und in 2 Stunden wieder voll geladen sein. Dies konnte ich noch nicht verifizieren, aber unsere 6-Stunden-Gigs hat es ohne Nachladen durchgehalten.All diese Flexibilität und der Name Fender haben allerdings ihren Preis - aber das Telepath-System ist es wert! Klare Kaufempfehlung.
