The meat didn't slide on the metal surface and my cuts were clean w/o feeling I was cutting into my former wooden board. I haven't tried the non metal side yet. The best part is the metal surface cleans up very quickly with soapy hot water. No more soaking in soapy bleach water. I tried it and was done. It's a good size so be able to butterfly roasts, trim meats/poultry and any other meats needed to be prepped. It is a little hefty which is good so that it doesn't slip and/or move while using. My only dilemma is finding a convenient place for storage.

Love this cutting board! I use it every week for meal prep and it makes things so much easier. The steel side is perfect for cutting up meats, and the other side is great for fruits, veggies, and snacks for the kids. I love that I don’t have to worry about smells or stains—plus it’s dishwasher safe, which is a huge win.It’s a great size—not too big, not too small—and super easy to clean. I really like this cutting board and the 2 sides however you must realize that once you use the metal side it's gonna be all scratched up. This is after 1 use. Nothing can be done to change that. I am only wondering if my knifes with go dull quickly I don't know yet. I suspect yes. But I knew this going in and still really like it.

The appreciated weight keeps the board stable and allows convenient cutting experience. Likewise, easy to clean and scratch proof surface like stainless steel helps to keep food wholesome. A very good buy for a fulfilling kitchen experience.

It feels so much more sanitary then the plastic cutting boards I used to use for raw meat. Very easy to wash and disinfect. It does leave scratches as I expected, but again it is way more sanitary and durable!

Hard to believe I'm writing a review for a cutting board but have to give credit where credit is due! I really like the design and idea of this cutting board. The handle makes it much easier to take it in and out from the wherever you put it and wipe it down. The rubber edge makes the board stable while cutting. Best of all, the stainless steel side will not hide all the bacteria like regular wood. Hope the manufacturer will make a bigger size down the road.
