Good shelf for pretty cheap. I used this to organize my father's kitchen and I put a lot of appliances on it so it can handle a good bit of weight. Very nice quality, was easy to put together and is the perfect size.

It took me less than 10mins to put the shelving together. It is a very sturdy shelf. I can tell good metal parts are used for this, and it isn’t all too heavy either. For the money it actually is a very good buy.

This shelf unit was a good choice for us in that it had to fit inside a cabinet which is high inside but with comparatively small access doors. We were able to finish assembly inside the cabinet because of the unique assembly process.The shelves are have a lip all the way around them, and there is a loop welded on each corner - the vertical posts fit inside those loops. However the loops are NOT held onto the vertical posts by screws or bolt or pins. Instead you receive a set of vertically-split cone-shaped pieces. (Think of an waffle cone for ice cream with the tip cut off to make a hole -just- big enough to fit around the vertical post with a friction fit). Now, take the two halves of the cone and file them on the vertical post at the height you want each shelf. Next do the same for the other three posts, getting the all at the exact same height. Now call your assistant (surprise!) and holding the four posts vertical get your third assistant (surprise again!) to pick up the shelf and fit the corner loop over the top of each post and let it slip down until it reaches the cone piece you put on each post. The loop will fit over the cone and form a friction fit holding the shelf on the pole. If you got each come at the same height, the shelf will be level. Repeat this process as necessary until you get everything right for each shelf.Done properly, the more weight you put on each shelf, the stronger the unit becomes as the loop compresses the split cone tighter over each post. In our case it seems quite sturdy.However the whole thing is a pain in the (use whatever thing you like here) to assemble. I am sure the student got great marks for his or her ingenious design using no screws or bolts, but I don't care for it. I can't say it's bad or weak and I am not afraid it will fall apart. I just would never, ever buy another one because of the assembly process, which isn't even that hard if you have three comparatively sober and patient people handy.
