These are unbelievably thin, even for crystal, which these are not.Crystal can be made thinner thanks to the additives giving it extra strength, also gives it the signature ringing sound when you rub the rim, but this has neither the ringing hum or the strength.I don't have a lab to officially test it, but if you're lucky enough to have handled a crystal glass, you know how glaring the difference between it and "regular" glass is, and that would be more than enough to bet your life this isn't that.Why 4 stars anyway?I have the same issue with "genuine leather" advertised at fractions of what it costs to buy the real deal... if you think you're getting a highly sought after and costly item at as much as a third of the cost, well I'm not sure that's completely the sellers fault.I do wish sellers would just be honest about their products, but have just come to understand and accept that when it comes to claims of special materials (ie crystal or leather), you should gauge the value with the actual cost of what is being claimed in mind.At the right (low) price that it was advertised for at time of writing, it's 4 stars.If it cost 3x that (what it'd actually cost if it were real crystal), I'd say it's a huge ripoff.
