The adjustable couch cane is incredibly sturdy and made from high-quality aluminum, which makes it both lightweight and durable. It provides excellent support when standing up from the sofa or chair, helping to reduce the risk of falls and strain.The ergonomic handle is comfortable to grip, and the height adjustment feature makes it adaptable for different users and furniture. It was easy to assemble without the need for tools, and it blends in nicely with our living room setup.This mobility aid has greatly improved my parent's confidence and independence. My FIL is 93 and was having difficulty getting off the couch. Not any longer. Works perfect. Easy to install and can be moved, by him, to other locations. Great product!

Needed for an elderly relative who began having enormous difficulty standing up from his reclining loveseat without help (loveseat arms too low/squishy and his legs too weak). This looked to be the strongest of all the aids on Bolo so thought we'd try it despite the warnings that it doesn't work on recliners. We use it on top of the seat cushion (which is permanently attached to the loveseat so cannot put it under the cushion as recommended), and put a flat pillow and air cushion on top of the cross bars; he cannot feel the cross bars at all. In fact, the added height of the cushions helps as well. The arm rests are a little high but it's a fair trade-off for being able to get up independently. Very very sturdy, no bending or bowing of the cross bars (his weight is about 180). Glad we took a chance, it worked for us.

The handles provide good support for standing but aren’t ideal for resting arms. Adding extra padding can improve comfort. Overall, it’s a reliable aid for those needing help getting up and down.

I bought this for my bf, it serves the purpose but you can feel it under the pillow so it's very uncomfortable. So I just use one side and tuck it in between the pillow and that works fine.

Easy to set up and very reliable
I bought this as a retirement, gag gift for my mom. It was really funny to watch her open it, but I realized it would be very helpful to people who have trouble standing up, sitting down, or moving in general. The setup is very simple and easy. The strength seems very reliable.
