Well, the search ends here! Coco Carob tastes practically identical to hot chocolate, and while it's not sweet, I like it just fine without. It mixes easily into hot water. I haven't tried cold but I will use this in the morning as my coffee substitute. It's too pricey for me to use any time of day or more than once a day, but you absolutely could. The coconut really makes it for me and nicely complements the carob. I can definitely taste it, which is what I was hoping for. I'm really thrilled with this find and with this purchase. Now I can have my "chocolate" every day and drink it too - Yay!
