Originally bought an SjoyBring deck. The Radio was junk. Returned it and got this Pioneer. Reception is much better. Everything seems to work good so far. It was only 80 dollars more than the Sjoybring. Well worth the extra money. Quality is much better.

I’ve been using the Pioneer DMH-W3000NEX for several months now, and it’s a solid upgrade for my car’s audio and entertainment system. The 6.8" capacitive touchscreen is vibrant and responsive, making it a breeze to navigate menus, use wireless Apple CarPlay, and stream music via Bluetooth. The sound quality is excellent, thanks to the 13-band equalizer and high-quality audio components, which let me fine-tune the output to match my speakers perfectly. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay work flawlessly, and the built-in Bolo Alexa is a nice touch for hands-free control. The L-shaped chassis made installation straightforward in my vehicle, and the included backup camera input is a handy feature for safer parking.However, there are a couple of things I wish were different, keeping it from a 5-star rating. First, I really wish it had a dedicated front camera input. Having only a rear-view camera input feels limiting, as a front camera would be great for tight parking or off-road situations. Second, the camera inputs are analog (RCA composite), and I’d prefer digital camera inputs for sharper, higher-resolution video. Analog works fine, but digital would be a step up in clarity, especially on such a nice display.Overall, the Pioneer DMH-W3000NEX is a fantastic multimedia receiver with great connectivity and sound. If you’re okay with just a rear camera and analog inputs, it’s a great choice. I’d recommend it for anyone looking to modernize their car’s infotainment, but those wanting front camera support or digital inputs might want to explore other options.

In a previous review I mentioned it does not work - it does - it just requires the cable. The system does not have Wireless CarPlay. Bluetooth is still kind of wonky but the cabled CarPlay works well. Raised the review up from 1 star to 5. Feel much better about the purchase now that I can use CarPlay.

This radio worked for awhile & was somewhat functional. Can’t mirror my phone & CarPlay wasn’t working out… but after a year of using this product it started showing “ERROR 10” & wouldn’t let me pair my phone to it. At first it kept cutting in & out my music which was doable but then it kept doing that & disconnecting my phone… so while driving in traffic I’d have to reconnect it. At one point it kept disconnecting RIGHT AFTER it connected only playing 1-3 seconds of my phones music till it cut me off again. Now at this point it only displays an error 10 & doesn’t allow my phone to connect at all. I’ve tried to do an update on this particular device but this one doesn’t have update availability on the website. So now I’m stuck with a $400 purchase that doesn’t work 100% of the time. So as the title says this is the worst purchase I’ve ever made & I will never be doing business with pioneer again. I thought this was the best radio on the market but I was disappointed & pissed about this experience.

Installed in my 04 toyota tacoma, easiest install I've done with, bluetooth phone calls work flawlessly and android auto via USB hasn't had any issues.

So far I like it alot you do have to plug in your phone to use the car play but beside that I love everything it offers for the price id recommend it.

I like that it’s got car play that’s why I got it over tha nsx 1400 that I got in my car

Works just like original Android auto systems, fast and responsive. It improved the audio quality in my vehicle, even radio station reception improved. (Note, connect "parking brake" cable to ground to bypass android auto lockout during driving)
