I am a big cocktail fan and also enjoyed the White Lotus, so I was excited to see they made a cookbook (which I collect). It's a beautiful book with gorgeous photos of the cocktails. I've tried 4 of the recipes so far and they've all be really delicious.

I have this out as a coffee table book. The colors are beautiful. I have tried several of the drink receipes and they were delicious.

Full disclosure: I have never watched, and only have a vague understanding of this show. I got the book purely because I enjoyed the pictures in the preview, and I also figure having a cocktail recipe book is never a bad idea.And it really is a beautiful book, even if you never try any of the recipes. Everything about it has this tranquil, tropical theme. Even without having seen the show, I think they captured the theme well (I -did- read the summary about it!). You'll probably be able to make all sorts of recipes if you keep a decent stock of liquors, but as someone who only ever has rum around, I'd have to go out and specifically buy some of these. I'll probably only resort to that for special occasions, but I knew that when I ordered.Anyway, the TL;DR is that I think this book is worth having just as a coffee table book, but if you're interested in mixed drinks (especially of the tropical variety), then you're definitely going to want it!
