Nice piece, a little pale in colour maybe for my taste but good for price paid and looks good. Nice method of presenting a geode mounted on its simple and tasteful stand.

Beautiful amethyst , lovely colours and nice to display
I wasn't sure how big this amethyst would be but its quite big and heavy.Clearly a good quality amethyst with beautiful dark , mid and light purples and a large crystal surface. Amethyst is actually my birthstone , so its lovely to have this unique piece on display.On unpacking , there was a loose individual crystal in the packaging that had come away from the corner of the main fossil. It did not detract at all and if I hadn't found it , I would not have known it was missing.I was in two minds about having it displayed on a stand , preferring the natural look. But this is a simple inobtrusive black stand that allows the best part of the fossil to be displayed facing forward and a quick dust to keep it sparkling .Of course all these fossils are unique which makes it even more special.A lovely item that would make a special gift
