I like that the clamping force is adjustable based on how far back you pull the handle and that releasing the clamp via the button on the handle is very easy. Along with that, the long bar has allowed me to clamp down taller items that my other hold down clamps sometimes struggled with.They are very fast to set up and use, so they have become the first thing that I think to grab when I need to clamp something down.

Well engineered, well made, robust, sets easily and clamps firmly using 3/4" dog holes in a bench top thickness of 1.5". Did not find the relatively short dog hole inserts to be a problem. Absolutely nothing negative to say about this clamp.

These are super helpful in holding wood down on my workbench. They fit the 3/4" dog holes in my bench well, and hold pieces down well. It's very useful for holding wood down while using the domino so that the domino isn't registering from the bench.

The ratcheting portion of the clamp is great. The bench dog portion is.. not so great. The portion that fits into the bench dog hole really needs to be at least an inch longer unless you bench holes are exactly 3/4". My bench is 1) plastic and 2) has slightly over sized holes, so these clamps have very little holding power and will pop off if they get bumped at all. The short peg will also damage bench holes if the holes are slightly oversized.

These work very well. They are quick to use, and always lock.They are built extremely well out of solid materials. Workmanship is tops. Toolcool adapted these from there green handled track saw clamps. I just wrote a review on those, and I have to mention here as well. The Toolcool track saw clamps was very clearly a better product than the real Makita clamps. Better castings, better finish, tighter tolerance. That same design is at work here in these bench clamps.I gave 4 stars only because I do wish that the "dog" part that goes into your bench dog holes was longer. Maybe unnecessary? But with 3" or thicker bench tops, these seem short.

90% of my tools are USA made. I hate junk. I have used these, and they work great. And my dog holes aren’t perfect. My bench is 2x12,s with a 3/4 ply on top. These grab and hold and are easy to use. Micrometers showed exactly 19mm. Bang for buck, I’m happy.

I have used these two rachet clamps several times and the work very well with my 3/4 inc dog hole workbanch. It provides excellent gripping pwoer to stabilize and lock the item on my workbench. The are well built with solid material. I would not hesitate to buy more in the future.
