I bought this to laminate my Machine Prints at work. This was the first laminator I ever bought or used so I have no clue if its fast or slow all I know is it works and gets the job done but to me its a slow process but you only need to do this that one time and then your done.What I did learn is that the machine will automatically turn itself off after a period of time. Not sure how long that was but I will find out because when it happened to me it was half way though a sheet of 11x17 paper. Fortunately I was there and just turned the machine back on and it resumed working. After that I just turned it off until it cooled down then resumed laminating more prints but I chose to limit how many pages I would run through the machine and then just turn it off and let it cool down before working on another set of prints.The machine works well and I am happy with it. Once my task is done it will be a while before I use it again.

Bought this for my office so we could print and make our own laminated signs, handouts, etc. I've been using it for 8 months now so I feel I can comfortably say that it does a GREAT job laminating sheets. I haven't had any bubbles, and hasn't jammed at all. I definitely recommend getting the matching name brand pouches - don't skimp and get some cheap knock-offs. You get what you paid for, and I'm very happy with the value and quality I got!

I ordered this to make flashcards for non verbal autistic grandson. Well actually for all family to learn so he can communicate with us.I then figured hmmm make eraseable activity sheets for all grandkids. I get tired of printing up paper only to be thrown away .This way if I laminate it then they can do worksheets n erase .( using dry pen markers)I purchased the scotch 3mil pouches , and I print out front and back sheets on regular all pupose paper and pass it through laminator.Heat up time is really quick and it did a great job..I make sure Im putting closed end in first n make sure its flat by using hand first..Im pleased with this machine thus far..

I just opened the product and tried to use it. It started smoking and upon further investigation I notice that it was broke on one end, wires near the heating area and screws were missing out of it. This could have been a fire hazard! I cannot return it now and am out money for the broken, possibly used laminator that I was sent. Extremely unhappy with this entire experience and purchase!
