Great case, perfect for the car. The only issue I had was the cable popping out of place when I would open the safe, and then I’d have to readjust it. I resolved that problem by wrapping rubber bands around the inside part of the cable, acting as a rubber washer to keep it in place. Now it’s perfect and totally functional. It easily fits my ccw in place, and it doesn’t weigh much so I can grab it from the back seat while sitting in front no problem.

Case is quality materials, lock set of 3 to 8 numbers is simple and easy to setup and open. The cable provides a means to secure the case as needed while keeping your valuables safe and secure.

You do need batteries for the electronics. It is easy to program, and and has a small light in it to illuminate the safe when opened, which is ideal in my dark bedroom. I have programmed it to silent mode, so it doesn't beep when entering the code.

I think this thing works just fine. I have had zero issues with programing it and opening it. The price is great, I love that it doesnt have the stupid biometric because many times I have found those will open with any finger touching it from anyone so I lost all trust and faith and would much rather just have a key code. I can open it by feel in the dark and it slides under my car seat. Once opened it pops open enough so you can lift the lid but it doesnt fly open which I like because maybe I want to open it but not expose whats inside automatically? My only complaint and the only reason I took off one star is because it wont close if your gun is in a holster, you have to go no holster with this safe, I wish it was just a little bit taller so I could have my gun in a holster in there. It holds 1 compact pistol and 2 spare mags in nylon mag pouches but just barely. Id guess with a full size gun like a beretta you are only getting one extra mag in a pouch in there or maybe 2 naked mags. Its not a huge safe by any means but its just right for a mix of quich access and transporting a pistol. In CA the gun laws are all bad and so is the crime so you have to take a big legal risk to stay protected. This safe has got you covered, like I said it slides under the seat hidden just fine so its not begging to have your car broken into but easy to get into if someone is being a psycho road rager. If you got pulled over for whatever reason the cops would need probabl cause to search your car to begin with but lets pretend they break the rules and search your car they would need a warrant to get into the safe and its legal to transport guns in a lockable container so you are covered legally unless you run your mouth and incriminate yourself. I cant say enough what a great balance this is between protection from criminals and the illegal anti 2A laws that will get you caught up. This is a must have for anyone in CA that doesnt want to be a victim of a criminal or the laws.

When I first opened the box and unwrapped this item I could see the quality. I have looked the item over with a fine tooth comb looking for an easy entry way but couldn't.I also enjoy that the locking mechanism is covered very well. I am sure that someone can eventually cut the cable but this item should be hidden and not in the open so thieves could premeditate removal. Ok come on folks, programming the keyless entry was so easy that a child could do it. Just follow the instructions and you will be fine. Duh why would you place the key in the box and close it. Common sense folks. Now go get yourself one

Love, love it.. was perfect slim size and design for my vehicle to secure items under seat without issue. Slides under seat discreetly , easy to use, open when I need to access withb option of the key or pin is perfect. Seems strong and durable over all great product. May have to get another for my other travels...

I was very excited to use this item but then sat into the fact that it was defective. I followed the instructions on how to set the code but it was not working when I finally got it to work the safe open and closed correctly with the code but then when I tried to do it again and once again would not open with the correct code I don't know if there is something going on with the mechanism or with the electronics itself but I'm returning this item to say the least. The company that did this needs to change their pattern of how the numbers are getting put in or they need to change up the entire Electronics itself because it just does not work correctly. Very poorly built
Well built - Solid
This is perfect to store a pistol and one mag.I opted for this one instead of the fingerprint type in case of error. This one uses either a key, or code. However, if you enter the wrong code 3 times it will lock down for five minutes, which would not be good. I found that if I punched the code too fast, it would confuse it and would lead to the lockdown. however, this is well worth the money. You can mute the beeps and the mechanism isn’t too loud.
