Description is genuine leather. Lying. It’s PK synthetic. Don’t buy if you want genuine leather. It’s not.

I need a desk pad for my old desktop. I ordered this one because I like cowhide products. The desk pad arrived fast, with a simple instruction to unroll the pad. I got on their website to search for some more information. Aothia.com is a well-constructed website, providing enough information for the general public. However, there is nowhere I can find whether their desk pad is made of real cowhide. I can only find under 'leather desk mat', the description states it is made of PU (polyurethane) leather.The 'Genuine' leather desk pad I received really looks too uniform and even, front and back. It also smells good, not quite like real cowhide's. Anyway, with the benefit of doubt, I rated it 4 stars. I also took a picture which is their website, showing that the material of their desk pad is PU leather.

I wanted this to put my laptop on and to use my mouse on it instead of a separate pad for the mouse. This color is just about right and what I was looking for. It has a nice texture on the bottom but it doesn't slide around. It comes in a roll but luckily I had a couple of handy elephants sit on it for a few days. For what it is, five stars.
