I love these pants. The waist size is perfect. They fit well. They look lovely. And they don't seem super gangster-looking like they used to. They're somewhere in the middle, and I love these pants specifically. I got the black sand ones and highly recommend them. I'm buying a second pair for sure.

I know this line of clothing is soon too be gone for good, but my fiance has a hard time finding relaxed enough fit in the crotch area.

A little too long....I wasn't thinking that they sit low on my waist....should have gone for the shorter ones due to that fact. Other than that, they're great.

I've literally spent years trying to find some jeans that were NOT "skinny jeans" or any variation of skinny jeans, because I personally feel that Skinny Jeans looks ridiculous. And besides that I don't see how skinny jeans could be even the least bit comfortable, and for me I want my Jeans to be comfortable and also look great. And thankfully that's exactly what these Southpole Jeans are, Comfortable and they look good, the only very minor thing is that I didn't think they'd be this dark of a shade of blue, I usually prefer lighter blue jeans, but I actually like the color now. The overall fit of these jeans is exactly what I wanted: Loose fitting with plenty of room, but still at the same time not Super Baggy either. I wear size 16 shoes and so I need pants that have wide enough leg openings that they are able to rest easily and cover the entire opening of my shoes, which these jeans do completely. ***I always recommend going up one size in the waist when placing your order.

Not the quality I used to enjoy from this company when they were sold at JC Penney's. I ordered 4 sizes larger due to reviews here stating that the pants were running smaller than they used to. As expected the waist was much bigger, but I don't feel the pants were any more comfortable (baggier) for me ordering extra sizes. I am concerned if I go smaller I will be uncomfortable in these jeans (I certainly have a thicker lower body than upper). I might give these pants one more try at a smaller size (but not as small as my JC Penney SouthPole jeans), if only to avoid having to try on a bunch of pants in a store.As for other complaints I have; the zipper feels like the junkiest zipper I've ever used but it is working for now. Also, the waist has a seam run across it that will rub my skin raw in places if I don't have a shirt tucked in. I gave these pants 3 stars but a large part of this is because they are so cheap. I'm certainly not excited about the purchase and don't look forward to casual Friday as much when I wear these.

At 55, I’m not ready to forego something stylish for comfort. Southpole was a brand I liked years ago, so you didn’t have to twist my arm much, if at all, to give them more of my money for this eventual replacement of one of my black pairs. It took a couple tries to nail my size down (36x32), but it’s right on. Comfortable all around, from the waist, through the seat and thighs, and to the boot tops…and I don’t look like I’m 55 in them…until the cane I need from time to time is in use… (lol)

These South Pole Jeans fit very well, they are deep fitting jeans so actually go above the waist when wearing them. Keep that in mind if you do decide to go for these.These jeans are comfortable, the material feels quite good and they look nice as well. I wear them for work and it handles my shift no problem. They feel worn in and not stiff.I bought 2 and will be buying more soon.
