I like that it's really unscented and feels very 'clean'. I am used to using massage cream and not lotion, so I can't really speak on how it compares to other lotions. However, I feel that it's very comparable to the glide you get from creme if you're not afraid to use it. Meaning, don't be stingy with it or else it will just be absorbed into the skin. Once you play around with how much you need to get the desired glide, it'll work well for you.

For me, the biggest problem with most massage oils and lotions is the fragrance. It tends to make my sensitive skin itch, and the fragrances get tiresome after a time. No fragrance is the best fragrance for me, and this lotion satisfies that requirement well. The lotion is thick like a moisturizer but doesn't immediately soak into the skin like a moisturizer – things remain sufficiently slick for a time, which is the whole point of a massage lotion. It leaves the skin soft and blessedly unscented at the end. My only complaint is that I had a heck of a time getting that pump to work, probably due to the thickness of the lotion. It worked eventually, but it was quite a chore getting there and I almost gave up.

This is an excellent unscented lotion. I used it daily as a moisturizer and it works wonders. It's very light and absorbs well, leaving my skin nourished not greasy. I think it would work great for massage or PT as well. It's also listed at a great price for the amount you get. Highly recommend!

This moisturizing massage lotion from PURA 1st is completely odorless. It does leave a slightly greasy feeling for several minutes after application. The dispenser nozzle is fragile as well.

I have used various creams, lotions, and oils with massage. The key is for it to stay oily and last long enough for it to decrease friction, but not be so slick that it glides too much. This lotion works very well for massage purposes without having to reapply too often. The best part is that it is unscented, so it should not bother sensitive noses.

This is an 8oz pump bottle of unscented massage lotion. I like the emphasis on natural ingredients which usually works well with my sensitive skin. Quite a list of natural oils and extracts: Safflower Oil, Sunflower Seed Oil, Olive Oil , Grapeseed Oil, Organic Jojoba Seed Oil, Amica montana Flower Extract, Ivy Extract, Chamomile Extract, Aloe Vera Oil.My only problem with this is the other ingredients known to be comedogenic: Ethylhexy Palmitate, Propylene Glycol, Cetearyl Alcohol. These are generally considered safe to use for most people, but they can clog pores. This won’t be a problem for all but it’s not the best option for those with oily or blemish-prone skin. Otherwise this works great as a soothing massage lotion, not oily and leaves no residue. PURA 1ST Professional Herbal Therapy Massage Lotion is odorless and is soothing to your skin as you massage it in. I'd think this is what would be used after the gel massage has been completed, but I'm no massage expert.The lotion comes in a pump container that is easy to use, and only a small amount goes a long way, so start small and build as needed.
