It just barely fits on my husband's laptop but fits just fine on mine. The instructions were pretty unhelpful in figuring out which cords were needed and where to get it to work. And initially we couldn't figure it out on my husband's laptop. But in the end we didn't use either C cord and used the HDMI and USB cords to get it running.I do wish the screen cold angle "open" a bit more, so that the angle of the two screens could *decrease* a bit, but it works well as is. Screen quality seems to be pretty solid too.

I have an external monitor that’s clip on on the side, but the clip-on isn’t very secure. The clip-on for this product is much better and can accommodate even bigger laptops than mine. It can also stand vertically, which is useful for when you need to look at big spreadsheets on the go like me. Monitor screen quality is above average, clear, and bright. It’s even better when you use both the hdmi cable & usb-c cables together. Definitely recommend for the price.
