The chlorine, the hardness, and the alkalinity are easy to read. the ph is marginal. The CYA is difficult to read. Overall, these are good but not as good as a liquid chemical test. I run a saltwater 25k gallon pool.

I find these strips are very accurate, but the colors get strange if you try to use them from one season to the next. We keep them indoors except for the 2 minutes of testing/adjusting and the colors don't fade necessarily, but rather change completely (especially for chlorine levels -- instead of the "new" pink, the ones from last year are brown). The cost is great, so I don't mind replacing each spring. 150 strips is more than enough for the summer even given the large number we use at the start of the season.

so I got this for our hot tub and even at the nice low price it’s still a bit high, I have used these in the past and they work out fine as long as you follow the instructions. They’re fairly accurate and for a hot tub and pool they’re fine. I would not use them in a medical institution, however. Overall, to keep us safe in the water they do just fine.

It is inexpensive, fast, and easy. Accuracy is questionable though, and that is problematic for me. I think I have gotten mostly accurate readings over the last several uses, but I did not double check all the measurements to test if what I think is correct or not.I cannot rely on these tests strips for an accurate reading of free chlorine today. In the first picture, the color range result for the free chlorine test strip looks like 0-.5ppm. It is the third row (the text strip is longer than the bottle). If I solely relied on this reading, I would have added chlorine to increase the chlorine level.That would have been a mistake. Yesterday, the free chlorine reading in my pool was 3.44ppm, which is a little high. I live in South Florida, and it rained yesterday and overnight, so I expected a small drop in free chlorine, but not this. I tested the water, immediately after this test strip reading, with a digital meter, and the free chlorine reading is actually 2.51ppm.I bought this product hoping to lower the amount of times I use more expensive test strips for my digital meter. Unfortunately, that expectation was too high. I would only use this product in between tried and true testing for a red flag.

Easy to use test strips
Worked well, just what I needed to test the effectiveness of my water softener.

Nachdem wir uns einen Pool und ein erstes Starter-Set zur Wasseraufbereitung zugelegt hatten, war klar, dass wir bessere Test-Stäbchen zur Kontrolle der Wasserqualität brauchen. Die im Starter-Set enthaltenen Stäbchen waren nicht wirklich aussagekräftig.Nach einer längeren Suche bin ich dann über diese Teststreifen gestoßen. Alle wichtigen Werte sind dort enthalten und können ganz einfach bestimmt werden.Nach Erhalt wurden diese umgehend getestet.Dose auf, Stäbchen eingetaucht, kurz gewartet und abgelesen. Alles sehr einfach und schnell.Sehr gut finde ich, dass die Skala einen Soll-Bereich anzeigt, indem die Wasserqualität liegen sollte.Die vereinfacht alles und man erhält sofort eine Tendenz. Sollte ein Wert aus dem Ruder laufen erkennt man schnell, welcher dies ist und kann so zeitnah reagieren.Natürlich habe ich am Anfang 3 Stäbchen nacheinander getestet. Ich wollte wissen, ob die Ergebnisse reproduzierbar sind oder jedes Stäbchen einen anderen Wert zeigt.Alle zeigten das gleiche Ergebnis.Ich bin sehr zufrieden und habe nun, für meinen Teil, die Test-Stäbchen meines Vertrauens gefunden.

Don't waste your money!
I ordered these test strips because of the great description they were given. Their performance doesn't even come close. I only use chlorine in my spa, yet I continue to get bromine readings on the test strip. They do not accurately reflect the chlorine level in the water nor do they accurately report the pH. Their app is also pathetic. These strips have caused me to have more problems with the spa water than I would have using another brand of test strips.
