I have an older Panasonic Wet/Dry shaver that is exceptionally effective but requires replacement blades. I decided to get this model, anticipating it would offer an improvement over an earlier version. Unfortunately, this model proved incapable of effectively removing any hair from my body. Consequently, I returned the shaver and do not recommend its purchase.

This kit has two heads for trimming/shaving: an oscillating head for trimming longer hairs, and a foil type head for shaving already trimmed hair. The oscillating head cuts quite close by itself, and doesn’t have any pulling or tugging of longer hair. Some women might be satisfied with the closeness of the cut without resorting to the foil head. The foil head also works well, although it is quite small and will be a little time consuming to use. There are also 2 combs to attach to the oscillating head to provide a cut with a longer controlled length. The surprising aspect of this shaver is this: virtually all shaver/trimmers in this class are designed with an internal rechargeable battery (usually lithium ion). But this device uses a standard AA battery, and Panasonic doesn’t even claim a good battery life with that (1 month of twice weekly use). That is a major shortcoming. There are far better choices of women’s trimmer/shavers for similar prices.

The trimmer was ok although it missed a ton, but the shaver was completely ineffective. I even tried it on my toe and pressed fairly hard since it’s a less sensitive area, and it did nothing. It also kept randomly turning off, like the battery wasn’t always engaged. Very disappointed.

This worthless hair trimmer appears to be a joke. It is very very tiny, very very weak and although it will eventually cut your body hair, it will take so long that you will just put it aside and use something else.It functions rather poorly, and seems to be designed for perhaps shaving lint off clothing, not real hair. Want a smooth shave? A smooth shave is possible, but it may take an hour or more. It is not very easy to use, frustrating in its lack of useable or practical shaver heads.And to make matters even worse, do not think that this is a chargeable device. It runs on a single AA battery, which of course is not included - making this especially no useable right out of the box.Don't waste your money - get another shaver, any other shaver than this garbage.
