Possibly my new go-to PLA filament
I have bought a few different brands of PLA in the past, some from name brands and others with no name or pedigree. All of them have worked reasonably well in a couple of different printers, to the point where I'll buy the cheapest PLA available with good reviews. For me, 3D printing is a hobby so I don't want to spend a lot of money, and I'm always after a bargain.I bought this 2-pack because I go through a lot of black filament and this was the cheapest option I could find at the time. When I bought it, the price was just over $10/roll. That's the lowest price I've seen for a filament from a known brand that has good reviews. Sold!It didn't let me down, either. I haven't run much of it yet but so far it prints just as well as the Elegoo filament I was using before. In fact, I ran out of Elegoo mid-print and substituted the eSun. No adhesion problems and I was able to complete the print with zero blemishes. I do multicolor prints sometimes so it's nice to know that there's no incompatibilities between these two brands, since they are my go-to filaments.I also like the cardboard spools. They're easier to break apart if I want to save some room in my recycling bin, and they fit my AMS Lite and hold fast.Print quality is good and adhesion on a textured bed is strong enough that I have to wait for everything to cool in order to remove the prints cleanly. Once the bed is at room temperature, the prints pop off with no problems, but they cling like a barnacle if the bed is hot. This is exactly what you want so I'm not complaining.If the price stays the same, this will be my new go-to filament for the majority of the printing that I do.
Cold white!
Good fillament which printed well and gave us no issues. Spools are wound well and the first layers always looked great, no clogging issues with 0.4 and 0.6 nozzles. This is a cold white tone and does not match with 'normal' white tones which are more 'warm' in tone. Something to be aware of!

I love this color of filament! It's beautiful, it consistently impresses me with its print quality and beautiful color.It's my favorite color I included a picture of a mandalorian helmet I printed with it and left as it came off the printer, and behind it is a Gengar pokemon I printed with it and painted with acrylic paint markers and it was very easy to paint on.Great Filament, had no clogs or jams, I printed with my flashforge printer and flashforge slicer set to standard pla and I had phenomenal results with it, with no extra settings adjusted, just auto, it just comes out great, I already ordered another spool, I can see it being a go to color, with it being easy to paint, and how great it looks as is off the printer.Thanks for the great product, Im really enjoying it.
the Good, the Bad and the Ugly
So I wanted to give a full review after actually trying this filament.The Good: The price is fair for what you get and a the quality is so-so, but if you plan to only print small things and or are watching your printer every 30 mins, it's fine for the $12 sale I got it for. I bought 2 rolls and this one *did* come vacuum sealed, the other color of the same brand was seal but not vacuum tight.The Bad: There isn't consistency on how well this filament sticks to my build plate. the first small connector piece I had to pry it off with tools it was stuck so bad, the very next print the tree supports straight up didn't stick. You aren't guaranteed the vacuum seal will be in the bag. Also, the spool is VERY inconsistently wound. Meaning there will be snags and I have to watch this like a hawk every 20 min or so, which, for small prints is ok, but big prints will be a nightmare.The Ugly: like above, it doesn't consistently stick and even if it does there isn't always consistency with how much PLA extrudes from the tip while it's printing. It was a fresh spool out the box and it's more fickle than some of my 5+ old open spools I use to for test prints. I had it bird nest twice on me, and thankfully caught it early enough, but it's gonna be a headache if that's the quality of the whole spool.Again, I'm still giving this 4 stars just because of the price. if it's on sale for the $12 or less, I feel like it might be worth the gamble if you're cheap like me. It has penitential to work for people just fine, especially small and simple prints. Think like if you need a test-print spool you don't care too much about. but there is little to no quality control from spool to spool. You just have to get lucky.

The eSUN PLA Basic Filament 1.75 mm is excellent for fast and reliable 3D printing! The filament feeds smoothly, sticks well to the bed, and produces clean, precise layers with minimal stringing. I noticed consistent extrusion even at higher speeds, making it perfect for both prototypes and finished prints.The spool is well-packed and tangle-free, and the color quality is vibrant and consistent throughout. With two 1 kg spools, I have plenty of material for multiple projects without worrying about running out. Overall, this PLA offers great value, reliable performance, and excellent print quality — highly recommended for hobbyists and pros alike!
