A corded robotic pool cleaner (Dolphin Nautilus CC+) I purchased 3 years ago quit on me. After some investigation I replaced the cord at a cost of $189. Thankfully, that fixed the problem.What I realized is that by using the cord to pull the cleaner to me at the end of a cleaning cycle (just pulling it over & up to the surface where I would then grab the handle & lift out of the pool) was putting too much strain on the cord.So after replacing the cord, I bought this so I could grab the cleaner from anywhere in the pool without pulling on the cord at all.Hopefully, spending a couple bucks now will save me a couple hundred in the future.I'm pleased with how well made it is.
