The inside of it is extremly soft, and has a velvet feel to it to give your X5 the needed protection to prevent scratches, scuffing or marring off your expensive investment. It comes with a little lanyard as well to attach to the case, or you could use it to attach to your X5 if you had a cage to go around it.The investment was well worth the money, and I would buy this all over again. I'd highly suggest investing in this case for your X5 if you don't use a cage, but if you do have a cage on it, it won't fit. You could always go the silicone route which would work just fine. I purchased this for my X5 and it securely holds the X5 with Insta360 X5 silicone lens protector as well as the factory charging cable. It can zip around the camera while it's still attached to a selfie stick. The zippers rattle a bit so I cut them off and installed smaller nylon/rubber zipper pulls on them. Overall, for under $10 I think it's a good deal.

A perfect fit with the insta360 X5 with silicone rubber protective lens cap. Well made and attractive hard case with soft padding. Just what I was looking for - often there's no separate space in my camera bag for the X5, yet I don't want it rubbing against the hard metal of a big pro zoom lens. With this case my mind is at ease.
