    I collect dolls and I got this set to restyle my Barbies' hair. I think it's great for what I need them but for someone looking to get a perm done they may not be the best. I struggled closing them and securing them properly. There would be too much tension on the rubber band where it would snap them open or completely come off the plastic. Luckily I don't have to use these on a person or I would be afraid of hurting someone with them. However, I did like the variety of sizes and the price is reasonable.

    I loved these curlers. All sizes tiny bitter to large. I was able to get good even curls on my dreadlocks. See picture to see curls. Remember there are very tiny one. So be mindful of sizes.
