I don't know Ana Luisa, but I love her. After seeing ads pop up on social media, I started snatching up pieces of jewelry.You're just as tired as I am of seeing these teardrop dupes all over Bolo. I wanted a pair, but I didn't want them to be comically large or look cheapy. These are the ones to get. They're a statement without being too big or ridiculous. They're perfect to wear to work, or even for drinks after work. Not too offensive for your in-laws, but still say "I'm still cool. I still got it". The design is beautiful, modern, and bold.We've all been down the cheap jewelry road on Bolo. When you spend a little more, you get a little more. The quality is noticeable. The earrings are thick and heavy, in that way quality things just feel better. They're not so heavy you can't wear them all day though. They also haven't aggravated my sensitive ear lobes (a sentence I never thought I'd write).Ana Luisa advertises their products as being "wearable in water", which I can attest to because when I find something I like, I wear it for days.If you're looking to gift these, they come in the perfect box, wrapped in the cutest canvas bag with snaps. I love it all so much, I almost wish I could open them again for the first time to have that experience of finding a real winner on the internet all over again.

I’m a huge Ana Luisa fan. I’ve lost track of how many AL pieces I have. I’ve purchased many of them from different retailers including Saks and some, like this one, I’ve received through Bolo Vine . I’ve been eyeing these Kiara statement 14K gold plated Teardrop earrings for a long time. I knew though, especially from the retailer website, that these run heavy. I’m a 60 yr old female and my earlobes have been definitely stretched, so I typically shy away from very heavy earrings. When I got the chance to try these I was hesitant, but decided to try, hoping my trusty Levers (earring back lifters) would come to the rescue.Well, turns out due to the very clever design of these earrings, I can wear these without them! That’s huge - I’ve never seen a design like this. Because of where the earring “prong” is located, when sporting these, my stretched hole is hidden. And while, yes - these are heavy, they’re very comfortable. I completely forgot I was wearing them after a short time. I will still wear my Levears with these to prevent further stretching, but it’s nice to know, in a rush, I don’t need them! Btw, Levears are not sold on Bolo, but you can still do a search for earring back lifters and a ton will pop up. AL also sells some and I’m hoping they’ll be available here on Bolo soon. I also recently discovered Target is now selling AL but, I highly suggest checking here on Bolo before purchasing anywhere - I’ve scored some amazing deals here on (authentic) AL items with Bolo’s money saving coupons. If you’ve shied away from these specific earrings, this is your sign to try them. They’re on the pricier side, but AL jewelry does NOT tarnish and I’m speaking from experience.

I apologize I don't have a picture, but I can assure you these earrings are definitely everything they say they are and more. My ears are SUPER sensitive to any metal and sometimes even genuine silver or gold (honestly it's my entire body that's sensitive) but these earrings are great and came without any kind of allergic reaction. That's EXTREMELY hard to find for me so if I could give 10 stars, I would. They are a little more on the heavier side from what I am used to but that just adds to the quality in my opinion. They have double backings if needed to make sure they stay in place and come in a super nice package which would make a beautiful gift for anyone (mom, girlfriend, daughter, etc.) two thumbs way up!!

This is a style that I'd figured I'd never be able to wear due to my metal sensitivities. The fact that Ana Luisa made these already gave me some serious hope on their potential.These look great, no doubt, and they check all of the boxes for a quality set of earrings. They are wonderful for those of us with terrible metal sensitivities and they aren't too heavy despite their design. They are stunning in person and they are very much statement pieces.These look much more expensive in person than they are.I'm so happy with these. They dress up and down beautifully. They are unique and I get a lot of compliments when I've worn them.

Perhaps it's not fair of me to say, but I have a hard time differentiating this trendy gold teardrop earring from other sellers. It's pretty and shiny, but I could easily get a similar pair of hypoallergenic earrings from a department store on sale. If I were the brand, I would do something a little differently to capitalize on the teardrop trend. I would make these smaller and then add a feature that would set it apart, maybe a mixed metal variety which I haven't seen. I've said in all of my reviews that despite the goodwill of the company to be sustainable, the jewelry feels average. I think Aqua from Bloomingdales might be an equivalent. A little more information and transparency is needed on their Bolo storefront in order to suggest a stronger brand identity. I know it's not easy to compete these days, but the quality and presentation needs more of a wow factor.
