I purchased this laptop on July 2 and have been using it for a few weeks. It booted right up straight out of the box, setup was easy and it was ready to use. Screen is good, not fond of the keyboard (I much prefer discreet keyboards), mouse pad is responsive and it is fast. With several memory hungry aps running and several chrome tabs open switching between aps is very quick with no mouse or screen lag. Im not a gamer so cant comment on that. Battery life is several hours and recharges quickly. BUT the power adapter uses the only usb C port which is not mentioned in the specifications. I ordered a power supply with a barrel connection and problem solved. Over all I am quite pleased, it runs great, boots quickly, shuts down quickly and I have not had any problems at all.

I have been in technology for almost 50 years. in my lifetime I have used just about everything that computes, calls, calculates, shows time, and locates. I have used it, sold it, broke it, and repaired it, from mainframe computers to watches.I needed a new laptop, my old one was 10 years old but still able to run Windows 11. It's tiny and kind of slow, so I searched Bolo exhaustively for a new one and came across this, the 40GB RAM Ryzen 7 Lenovo.I've always been an HP fan but have used Lenovos before, they are always well built and last a long time. This one is probably the best I have seen. I'm not a PC gamer, so I don't need intense graphical speed, but I think the Radeon GPU can handle anything I need to throw at it, and the OS loads in less than 10 seconds. It's light, has a 1TB SSD which is enough room for me, and did I say fast? The RAM can load the whole OS.The keyboard is excellent, I don't need a backlit one, it has every key imaginable, even a side numeric keypad.It's light, VERY light weight, and the perfect form factor for me at 14". Best design ever.If you don't need a powerhouse for gaming, want to browse the Internet , do your taxes, watch videos, and maybe create a video once in a while, this laptop can do it all. People complain about the viewing angle and video, but I downloaded the latest drivers from AMD and I don't see a problem. It was shipped quickly even to my remote rural community, great seller. Two days.

So far, I love it. This laptop is well-made and it is fast. What I had before this was custom made. I love the fact that I received this laptop "next day" and it is everything I expects. Lenovo keyboards have great tactile feel. I just wish it had a DVD burner. I do a lot of music and video editing.

Works great but I am not that happy with its battery life, it lasts less than 2 hours if I am uploading material to Drive (which I do very often).Also, it crashed twice while editing a video, 40 gb ram and AMD Ryzen 7 should not do that. Size is OK, it's light and slim.
1.0 out of 5 stars REALTEK BLUETOOTH DEVICE DRIVERS NO LONGER SUPPORTED ON THIS DEVICE - BLUETOOTH DOES NOT WORK
Nothing but issues with the bluetooth, mainly bought this for a work computer to run CAD and play music through the dedicated bluetooth sound system in the shop and it just wont stay connected to the bluetooth speakers or receivers, it has Realtek drivers which when you try and update from their website it says they no longer support this hardware which is really odd since its brand new, its absolutely the computer/hardware since it doesnt work with correctly no matter what bluetooth devices you try and connect to it, the connection fails at some point. I have spent weeks trying to troubleshoot the issues, bluetooth drivers, windows updates, every setting possible and it just isnt there, the only suggested solution it to purchase a separate bluetooth dongle. I literally swapped out the bluetooth JBL speakers Ive used for years for a bluethooth receiver and wired speakers and it is still having the issue. over and over nothing fixes the bluetooth connectivity issues. It also is not fast enough to run games if that's something you're looking for it only has 2GB of VRAM and won't run modern games at all without lagging but it does fine with 3D CAD software so that wasnt a deal breaker for me, if you dont need bluetooth to work or to run high gpu games its probably a good deal

I tested the original Windows system before I removed it without issues and the laptop was quick to start up and under normal operation it functioned fine. It did appear to be an upgraded Windows 7 computer in the BIOS. Windows was only removed as this was purchased for work where I do "geek" computer things that Linux is easier to use.If you are looking for a solid laptop to use for Linux this machine is a solid choice. You will need to go into Windows and change a few settings to do the conversion to whatever Linux Distribution you decide to go with.Pro: It's a very sleek, slim, and fast computer for the price point. It has a ethernet connection point unlike most laptops anymore.Con: I am not a fan of the powercharger that was included and have it currently running off a docking station.Overall I will probably grab another one of these laptops for personal usage.

I let time test this product a while, the computer is very fast and can handle a lot of data abuse going in and out. Its very light and looks light duty but It's not, it's a BEAST! tech gets smaller, but more powerful. I would highly recommend, I got a laptop for 4.7k and it never performed as well as this one.

This is a great light weight heavy duty laptop. I am able to use it for my cybersecurity journey and even create virtual systems without bogging down the system. Non-Geek Translation: It has alot of storage space, easy to use, the screen doesn't have high tech resolution but it isn't for gaming, designed for the everyday student or buisness person on the go. Way to step it up Lenovo!
Great Deal
Exactly as advertised. Everything worked out of the box. Dual booting w/Fedora42 - wifi and bluetooth all working without any drama. This is the best deal I've seen in the last couple of months, very happy. Good laptop, great price.
Good laptop, but no backlight keyboard
I bought this laptop for my mother and she hasn’t had any complaints so far. However, I was disappointed that the product listing didn’t clearly state whether or not the keyboard was backlit. It turns out it isn’t. For her, this isn’t a big issue, but if I had bought it for myself, I’d be very frustrated. A business laptop should really make this clear in the description—especially since many people work in low-light settings (like on a plane or train). Other than that, it seems to run fine.
No Operating System.
This doesn’t appear to have the operating system installed. I guess it’s either download via a different device and then install, or just return it.On the fence. I don’t feel like spending a day trying to download and install an OS from scratch. :P
