The package has 5 tests sticks, all individually wrapped. The test only checks for Leukocytes (white blood cells) and Nitrites (which are usually formed if there is bacteria present). I liked that the package contains detailed instructions on how to use and interpret the test. The test sticks have an expiration of 2026-05-27, or about a 2 yr shelf life. The instructions are clear that the test may only indicate that there might be an infection, that many factors can affect results, such as antibiotics, vitamin supplements, food, etc. I liked that this package contains 5 tests and that it recommends retesting to confirm your results, and to always check with your doctor. Due to frequent UTI's for which the cause has not been determined, I like to be able to do a quick check at home to get an idea of what's going on so I can start doing some self care and maybe ward off a full blown infection and taking too many antibiotics.
4.0 out of 5 stars Quick and Easy UTI Detection!
these are a real time-saver when it comes to checking for a UTI at home. The results come in just 2 minutes, which is incredibly fast, and the specialized handle design makes it really easy to use without any mess. The strips are easy to read, and I like that they detect both leukocytes and nitrites, giving me confidence in the results. It's a great option for anyone who wants to monitor their bladder health at home without having to make a trip to the doctor for every little symptom. Definitely recommend keeping a pack on hand for peace of mind!
5.0 out of 5 stars Good to have, just in case
Fortunately, I haven’t had to use them yet, so I can’t really report on how reliable they are right now. But I’d say that these are good to have with your period supplies or with other first aid stuff. If you think you might be having a problem, you can check yourself at home and MAYBE eliminate a trip and the expense of going to your doc. If these strips say you do MAYBE have a problem, you can then try OTC or DIY treatments, then retest. If those things didn’t help, then obviously you should go to the doc. The listing says you can contact them if you have any questions or need help. The detailed instructions that come in the package lists a safecare email addr to use for those purposes. I suppose you could also do a search for it online. I couldn't post it here. I rated them 5 stars just for the convenience and piece of mind of having them.
4.0 out of 5 stars The good, the bad and the rst
Nice to have on hand to avoid unnecessary dr office visits. A couple areas for improvement though. First being the writing on the package. It's done in such light green writing that it's very hard to see. My old eyes are struggling with it.The other is the instructions are different in different places and in some places down right confusing. The box says to hold in urine stream. Just feeling through the package, they are rather small and could potentially be messy. Eww. Other areas say you can use a cup and dip in it. But in Bold writing at the top it says: "Allow the strip, urine specimen to reach room temperature (15-30C) prior to testing." I'm assuming they mean just the strip? And Not the specimen? Because if used in the flowing urine stream, it's not gonna be room temperature. I'm guessing it's another case of lack of proof reading when translating.
5.0 out of 5 stars Helped me know when to go to the doctor
I have always struggled with UTI and try to do everything I can to prevent them. These tests have helped me figure out when a UTI is coming on and when to go to the doctor.
5.0 out of 5 stars Useful to have
Its useful to have UTI test strips on hand. They can help tell the difference between ordinary discomfort that might be resolved with a couple glasses of water and something that might be worth seeing the doctor about. I like to have test trips like these on hand especially when traveling and before going somewhere where treatment will be harder to come by. They help with planning and self care.
4.0 out of 5 stars 5 tests in this item
This box contains 5 test strips for an at home UA to detect a possible UTI. I got them to use at home because I live over an hour from the nearest medical facility and it's not a convenient drive to go to pee on a stick. If I can get an idea at home before making that drive then it's worth it for me to order home test strips like this.
5.0 out of 5 stars Accurate
I use these on occasions and they’re always accurate. Very easy to use and great quality.
