So far so good 2015 TahoeOnly installed for one day but doing greatMy only issue is I messed with the display settings for contrast and others and don’t remember factory settings if some one can help? Lol

Recibí el paquete con golpes pero a pesar de eso pagué a un técnico para instalar el equipo y me ha sido imposible ponerlo a funcionar. El servicio al cliente del vendedor, me contesta los msg pero solo me hace llegar un pdf con un manual que no pertenece a mi vehículo. Solo me pide que le envíe video a una dirección que es la misma que aparece en el pdf que repetidamente me han enviadoNo recomiendo comprar este equipoCuidado……

It works perfect. It has a setting that let's you keep your OEM back up camera or show the feed from an aftermarket camera. You can talk and hear audio through the vehicle bluetooth, so there is no need to use the provided microphone nor the provided AUX cable.

The product works great, and I have received good contact with the seller. I investigated the cause of the one-star review that states the product doesn't work and have found that the instructions have the technician install the harness on the wrong plug on the HMI unit. I discovered that the unit work when you plug it in to the blue plug on the HMI opposed to the black plug. I loved that I could retain my factory features! I am just a backyard mechanic and had it installed in 30 minutes. I installed it on a 2015 Impala LT with the HMI 2.0.

In theory, this Road Top CarPlay Decoder is a great aftermarket product. However, although the description says that it is compatible, it will not work in a 2014 Cadillac CTS Coupe (2nd Generation). The CarPlay unit requires you to connect to the vehicle’s HMI Module - there is no HMI Module in this model.

I self installed this on a 2014 cadillac ats, its really simple if you follow the directions and look up a guid how to get to the radio and hmi2.0 modules, took me about 40min. I got mine to fit perfectly where the dvd player would be if i had one so i can still access the usb, sd card and the dip switches. The factory reverse camra still works too.The only isues i have is that the steering wheel buttons dont work, no skip and voice activation still gose to the oem service.Honestly i think its a worth it product as the other option is a $1200 hmi2.5 upgrade.

Important note… don’t give up on the process. 2015 Tahoe, the dvs cable needed to go into the Blue plug instead of the black. Unit works exactly as described. Which was nice. I have apple carplay with no issues once I did that👍👍
