So easy to use. Fast heat up. Wrinkles melt away. My husband’s dinner jacket, my linen dress, linen shirts, silk blouses, light weight cotton- this is a miracle worker and worth the price! Sadly they cannot be taken aboard cruise ships. Otherwise it’s still a must for travel. Beats an ironing board and iron any day.

It's very light weight and travel friendly steamer. Gets the work done! The water heats up quickly to release steam and works well when target smaller areas at a time.

The media could not be loaded. Powerful Compact steamer, great for travel.Pros: heats up within seconds and is ready to use very quickly. Easy on the hand to hold, hand doesn’t tire. It’s easy to use with refillable water container that pops in the bottom. Steam is strong and gets wrinkles out quickly!Cons: you have to lay it down when not in use, it doesn’t stand upright. Comes with a base to set it on but I don’t always have it near me. Biggest dislike is that the water container is so tiny and doesn’t hold much water. Because this steamer is so powerful, it burns off the water very quickly. I was only able to steam my 7 year olds dress shirt with one water load! You have to constantly refill the water. I had to fill twice to do my husband’s short. That definitely becomes annoying/inconvenient. Another con, there’s no way of telling when the water is out-besides the steam stops.Not exactly a con but worth a mention that there’s no on-off switch to power the steamer. Once you plug it in, it starts heating up. The button on the device is to turn the steam on or off. Just thought I’d mention it.Powerful steamer, I really wanted to love it. I think it’s great for travel, but for my type of use that I need with my household, I’ll need something that I won’t have to refill the water as often.

This steamer was good for about the first 4 uses and now it leaks terribly. Not impressed with the quality at all.

This steamer works well. It heats up quite quickly and it puts out a lot of steam.The design of the faceplate is excellent. It has a durable non-stick coating and the steamer glides over the hanging fabric.The manufacturer packaged it well and it arrived in perfect condition. The steamer comes with an instruction booklet and a silicone “plate” that can be used to keep the hot steamer above whatever surface you place it on. It can also be used to protect the faceplate for storage after the steamer has cooled.The silicone “plate” (see third pic above) works to keep the hot steamer up off of the counter or other surface. When I finished steaming my shirt and took the water “tank” out of the bottom of the steamer, I set the steamer sideways onto the side of the silicone plate to cool (see fourth pic).The reason I knocked off a star is two-fold:1) Putting water into the tank is a little fiddly. Taking the tank out, filling it, and re-inserting it into the steamer head isn’t intuitive. And, unfortunately, the directions aren’t easy to understand. The product would be much better if the directions and illustrations were easier to understand (or if the product was easier and more intuitive to fill with water).2) The print and illustrations in the instruction booklet are much too small. I had a lot of trouble reading them even in good light with reading glasses on. In my opinion, this product would also be greatly improved if the text and illustrations in the instruction booklet were at least 50% larger (and bigger would be better).Since it will likely be necessary for me to re-read them each time I use the steamer (since I don’t need to de-wrinkle very many things and won’t use it often), it’s frustrating that the illustrations and directions are so difficult to see and read. Either that, or the company could provide a website with full instructions so one could more easily read the necessary information there.Lastly, one part of the directions is wrong. On the illustration showing the “steam on/off” positions of the button on the back of the steamer head, it states that when the button is high (up), the steam is “ON”. And, when the button is down (low), the steam is “ON”. This isn’t correct, obviously. When the button is high, the steaming feature is off, and when it’s low, the steaming is on and the machine begins to steam.Still — once the directions are deciphered, the tank is properly filled and re-installed, and the steam button is turned on, the unit works great. It’s lightweight, easy to hold, and the handle doesn’t get hot or even warm.It does take a bit for the faceplate to cool after use — but no longer than any standard clothes iron or curling iron takes.Recommended.

This product is defective. I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt by ordering a replacement after a week (I thought maybe it was just the bottom part on that particular steamer) unfortunately after receiving my second I was "not" surprised when it broke in the same area after using it once.I wish I would've seen this warning and saved my money.Best of luck folks and DO NOT PURCHASE!!!
