Installation Precautions:
1.Power off & discharge: Turn off the phone; drain battery to below 25% to reduce risks.
2.Remove bottom screws: Take out the two 6.8mm pentagonal screws with a screwdriver.
3.Heat screen edges: Heat each edge for ~90s (hair dryer/heat gun) to soften the glue.
4.Separate screen: Use a suction cup to create a gap; insert a triangular pry tool (≤3mm depth) to separate glue (avoid left edge with cables); twist two tools to release left clips, then flip the screen up from the right.
5.Disconnect battery: Remove 8 screws of the battery connector cover, take off the cover, and pry up the battery cable.
6.Remove old assembly: Take off its connected cables and screws, then remove the old assembly.
7.Install new assembly: Position it correctly, connect all cables, and tighten screws.
8.Reconnect battery: Align and insert the battery cable, reattach the cover, and tighten screws.
9.Test new assembly: Power on to test touch, display, Face ID, etc., before full fixation.
10.Secure screen: Apply proper glue to edges, press the screen onto the frame, and wait for glue curing.

I’ve had this in my cart for a while since it was much cheaper than all the other options. I recently got my phone screen fixed at the mall for over $200, & within less than a month it just shut off one day & it never came back on. The screen just went out. It had took me months to be able to get it fixed & I was so upset ! Decided I was going to give it a shot myself because “how hard could it be with youtube” (I’m just a 25 yo girl) watched 1 video & finally ordered it. & well… I am typing this on the screen right now & it is 10/10 ! I have NEVER done this before! It was so easy, this kit came with everything you could possibly need besides I used a hair dryer on the front of my phone for a second or two on low just to loosen up the glue when removing the old screen. I work from home & literally did the entire thing during my 1 hour lunch break. It was so easy, if you are able to work with a few small pieces. A couple tiny screws & you’re in & out. Even if that worries you the screw drivers they included are magnetic so it makes it easy to keep ahold of them. When I got my screen replaced at the mall, my camera always had like that weird oil pan rainbow effect to it every time I FaceTimed somebody they thought I dyed my hair.. or they said a “rainbow was on me” or a filter… this screen does NOT have that issue my camera is completely clear. Everything works as normal I cannot believe how it is 100x better quality than the repair I paid $200 for I am truly stunned. !! It even came with a glass screen protector! I don’t usually write reviews but I came here to say this is a great kit if you need to replace your screen. On a budget or not the fact it was only like $36 for me is insanity for the quality. Thank you so much to the seller & I will be saving in case I HOPEFULLYYY don’t need you again lol but if so I know where to go!!

The first screen that arrived was damaged, the flex was cracked, the second screen that arrived for replacement, arrived in good condition, it works well, but the Face ID will not work since the screen has the Face ID sensor space sealed. If you are looking for something temporary or just to recover the information, this is fine, but to use the Face ID it is better to look for other better quality options.

For $26 this screen is great . No lag or anything just a little fuzzy. Paid 150 to get my screen fixed and it was lagging and couldn’t be used off wifi. So definitely get this and watch a video of how to install. Way more worth it

I've replaced phone screens multiple times, usually because they're cracked but this time for the "white screen of death" that Apple didn't want to repair due to possible water damage. This LCD screen is not same quality as original (as expected), it is a little less responsive and the display quality is different. However, is a quarter of the price of a brand one, and seems to work fine after installation and a test run for an hour.
