Hikvision released a firmware update that fixes the issue so head to their website to update yours if you experience the same issue. The seller was patient with and did their best troubleshooting the issue but ultimately, it was a bug in the firmware. Not the sellers fault at all. This also works perfectly with Security Spy DVR application for Mac OS.

Arrived dead, no life at all. Looks like it has been used as the lens had a small scratch/smudge. This thing is CHEAP plastic, flimsy as heck. Probably the cheapest feeling camera i've ever had and I've bought $30 reolink wifi cameras.
