Easy to use, and starts fires with lump charcoal reliably. They burn for about 10 minutes. Just enough time to get the cold started.

These are very easy to light and stay lit for a long time. You can almost light a large log with one of these and no kindling. They are perforated and can be broken apart into small squares or larger rectangles, whatever you need. They work very well as a fire starter

These light very easily and burn great. I like that they are soft and I can tear them up into smaller pieces.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I’ve been using the E500 Larger Charcoal Chimney Starter for a week now, and it does exactly what it’s supposed to. The chimney heats up the charcoal quickly and evenly, and the 60 starter pieces included make lighting a breeze. The size is great for larger grills, and it feels sturdy enough to last through regular use. Nothing fancy, but definitely gets the job done efficiently. A good addition to any grilling setup.

Seems like these aren't so good when you look at them, but they work really well. Can't beat the price. Easy to light. I add a couple pieces of newspaper and some kindling in the fireplace - that's it.

These are the best style of fire starters I’ve found to light a charcoal chimney. They burn the longest and are the easiest to light as well. This is a great value compared to the boxes I see in the store. I will definitely buy again!
