The only fitment issue I experienced is that the flat part that inserts first is a bit too large. I used a wood rasp to slightly file the opening in the door. Once that was done the latch fit perfectly and works as expected. Actually is better than the original latch.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I picked this because it said it has a 5/16” hole. But it doesn’t, it is too small and I returned it.

Don't get this to replace the Weslock 14000 series as it doesn't fit.

Just recently was able to install it Had to wait on the new door to be installed. Love the look and quality of this oil rubbed bronze finish entry door handle. It looks amazing on the new door. The handle locking mechanism works great. I would recommend this this unit over the high priced name brand ones

The quality is just fine but didn't work for my application. The spacing of the 2 holes for the thru posts is too close. My lockset is from around the 1980s and the latch assy. isn't made anymore, so I had to buy a whole new lockset!

The Maxxgeek was a good fit so I ordered more coming from the same store only to find out that my new orders are similar to the LOQRON only with the black metal. Price wise the LOQRON is now $11.70 from $24.15 and the Maxxgeek is $43.95 on my last purchase against $30.50 on my previous purchase. I though this may be due to the tariff war but I realize it is robbery. If there is a zero star I would give it that for this recent purchase.
