I love these! They are perfect for clinicals or whatever occasion you need your hair off of your shoulders for. They make a nice clean bun and it only takes a couple of tries in order to get it right.

I have relatively long, fine hair and did struggle at first. But my work around was pulling my hair into a ponytail and securing with a small rubber elastic and then tying the ends together (about an inch and a half or so above the very end) with another elastic. I clamped the tool just below the elastic at the ends then used as directed. Worked like a charm and holds firm without any pain or pulling. I now can create a perfect bun within a minute or two that holds securely without messing with tons of pins. The tool also creates some volume whereas the ones I tried to do myself with pins were always flat. Awesome product for a great price! The only improvement I could see would be if they were covered with some type of velour material that made it easier to hold the hair. But using elastics solved my issus and those are cheap to get.

These are great for long hair and so easy to use I wish they were a little smaller for shorter hair but they work great for long hair fine or thick.
