However, they recently broke and I needed to replace them. The 3M headphones have gone up in price substantially since I purchased my first set, so I decided to try a cheaper alternative. I first purchased a pair PROHEAR headphone for less than half the cost of these, but they did a terrible job of isolating noise, they were twice the size of the 3M headphones, and the sound quality was very poor, so I returned them and purchased these. The 3M Worktunes are substantially better than the PROHEAR headphones and to me are worth the extra money.

Excellent sound quality and noise blocking. My husband uses these when he mows the lawn to drown out the sound, while having Bluetooth to answer his phone, and listen to music. Very easy to use, comfortable around the ears, long battery life, no need for charging too often. He's used these since April, once or twice a week, for about 2 hours at a time, and his battery is at 70%

Get yourself a cheap pair of 3M hard hat-mount muffs and swap these on to them, add some gel cups and you’ve got a set of Bluetooth Peltors for a fraction of the cost.Upgrades: Improved sound quality, USB-C (IT’S ABOUT TIME!!!), added volume rocker (mixed value), much more comfortable compared to the previous model, more room inside means more comfort with safety glasses.The awful: The nannying volume limiter. I get that blasting music into your ears defeats the purpose of hearing protection, but good luck hearing anything if you double-protect with ear plugs, the volume limiter starts kicking in at just over half-volume.The other stuff: The battery life is FANTASTIC, charge it on the weekend and you’re good for the rest of the week, the Bluetooth is strong enough, I often forget I don’t have my phone in my pocket until I’m about 40 yards from my truck and the signal finally cuts. The formfactor is identical compared to other 3M headphones, so you can swap to gel ear cups for extra comfort, or swap them to a different headband or mount. And as always, 3M earmuffs are discreet, no blinking lights, no control panel, nothing that screams “I’m listening to something right now!” or “Break into my truck” when you leave it on your seat.

I've gone through 3 other sets of Bluetooth hearing protection ear muffs and this is the best one I have found. They feel solid when I'm wearing them and not like they are going to fall off. There is plenty of room for my ear in the ear muff. The headband extends a lot so no matter what size head you have, you should be in good shape. I like that they are rechargeable and don't use external batteries. My only complaint with this product is the volume level around very loud equipment. Around low to medium noise... they are perfect... BUT around very loud industrial equipment, the volume can be a bit low. Once I got mine and started using them, I had to order a second pair because my spouse kept "borrowing" them. Overall, GREAT product.

I normally don’t write negative reviews unless something really bothers me! Although comfortable enough and good at keeping loud noises out, the volume is so low, that you can’t really listen to music with external noise. Even in a quiet environment the volume seems low, and there’s nothing wrong with my hearing. I tried to find a way to increase the max volume to no avail, so SHAME on you 3M for deciding how loud one is allowed to hear music or videos! Let the consumer decide HOW LOUD they set it! My old 3M ear muffs were great!! unfortunately they died after 3 years! These are going back and Im shopping for something else!!

Great battery life and surprisingly good audio quality to boot. Appropriately durable, has survived several falls, bangs and bumps w/o any problem.Noise reduction is good, I wouldn't use these in an extremely noisy environment, but definitely fits the bill for medium yardwork (mowing/trimming).

I bought these to augment a pair of the older model (https://www.Bolo.com/dp/B07N6XXCWM) so I could have one at work and one at my personal workshop and stop carrying them.Pros:* The new version has a longer battery life. Seems 2x* Better then most others of this style I have tried.* The button is easier to press, especially with gloves* USB-C charging portCons:* The new model is -23db vs -26 on the old one. It's noticeably worse.* The now model sound quality is significantly worse. Speakers are tin-ny and sounds distant and fuzzy.* The head part is now hard plastic. I don't need a hard hat with mine and where the old ones were comfortable out of the box I needed to add an after market cover over so it wouldn't get uncomfortable after an hour or so* The new model doesn't seem to support multi-pairing. The old model didn't list it as a feature but I could have 2 different bluetooth things paired (phone and alexa) and it would be connected to both.....this one only connects to one.* edit: -1 Star. The new model has an auto-off feature that powers them off even if actively listening to things. This cannot be shut off.Over all: I recommend these over others brands; but I still carry my old ones back and forth as this is just too much of a step down. I plan to search for another one or two of the old model.
