Screen is nice and bright, adjustable for brightness, chroma, contrast, etc. Everything you need to get it dialed-in to your liking. Brightness at 25/30 in full sun. Screen itself is sturdy with a rigid metal chassis and solid mounting. No weird ghosting with polarized glasses and the Linux base system is instantaneous. Well, well worth the price of admission.

I never leave reviews but had to for this. After installing and uninstaller a cheaper module only version for my car I returned it as it was flakey, I got this and was able to install it during my lunch hour. Everything works, and it looks amazing in the car bringing my 2015 535D into the future a bit. Relatively easy install, plug and play. Looks amazing in the car.

Beyond impressed with the quality, embedded tech and ease of installation. I have the tools needed for the installation which are not included and I have experience working on cars and installing stereo equipment. With that said, install and setup was complete in 25 minutes (2013 535i) and I couldn’t be happier with what appears to be a factory installer display. CarPlay and additional apps work great, connection to iPhone 15 is seamless and fast and all native car controls and backup cam, sensors, etc. working flawlessly.Beyond impressed and thankful my son now has CarPlay on a big display vs looking at his iPhone screen for directions.

So far so good. I’ve had it installed for a few days now with no problems.This install is easy and only takes a hour or two. When installing make sure all the wires are plugged into the screen all the way, I struggled with figuring out functionality when testing it. Other than that just follow the instructions for set up and it works perfect.

Best BMW upgrade for the money!This is the third aftermarket CarPlay radio I put in and it was the least expensive and one of the most straightforward.It worked right away by following instructions. The helpful install video was great as well to make sure I didn’t break clips and takeoff things I wasn’t supposed to.
